One of the famous tourism places in Tianmuhu area and it is worth a one-day trip for either a outdoor hike or a more relaxed trip. Upon entering, a 20+ mins walk through paved and shaded path along the streams leading up to the next section. You could also opt for an electric minibus / train ride instead. You now have the options to 1. either take the tram to an ancient village atop a hill where there is traditional lion dance performance (quite impressive imo), bamboo exhibition museum and a small zoo with pandas. The tram is very popular though, so pick your time if you want to avoid the crowd and queue 2. or take the cableway (or take the climb alternatively) up another hill above the green and scenic namesake bamboo forest which was quite a breezy and comfortable ride even in the hottest day when I visited Then double back on the route where you started back to the main gate to finish the trip.See more..

Spent a rainy September day exploring the cavern and associated park lands with work friends. Third largest cavern in the world, easy walking access though some of the stairs are rather steep. Lots of artificial coloured lights on cavern features and the waterfall and underground river were in full flow. End of the cave is a short boat ride to the exit which was a neat way to finish. We also took the chair lift to the top of the mountain and though the rainy weather masked some of the view it was still a great experience. A good destination for a family day trip.See more..

Well worth a visit to see these unusual animals, and quite unusual to see successful conservation efforts in China. The tour inside the park by electric vehicle was not so good as you can't get out and stops to take photos are limited, but after that you can walk to get close to the animals kept in large enclosures. There is a viewing platform near the pagoda, which is actually a water tower. You can also rent a battery powered boat, but I think you may not see the deer from the boat if the herd is elsewhere in the park. There were very few people in the park in the middle of the day. We got picked up on time. The van was old and decrepit. The air-conditioning what's far from superior , the van was hot the whole day. It was a very dirty van with extremely uncomfortable seats, which made for a very long uncomfortable drive !The included breakfast and lunch was just fine , and the bike tour itself was a nice day. When the tour itself came an end there was a couple who was told they can be dropped off in Ubud instead of returning to Seminyak like the rest of us. At lunch, they were told him we would drop them off at the office to meet another car to take them there. All of a sudden things changed and our tour guide said it would be a 15 minute detour to drop them off! NOT! It took us 35 minutes in traffic just to get them to Ubud! To make a long story short the detour process an hour and 15 minutes extra! Instead of just hiring them a cab the inconvenienced seven people and we were all furious. It was unacceptable and they didn't really seem to care. We got back to Seminyak for our last night and had reservations at potato head which we missed!See more..
We went to the zoo one Saturday, as with all the attractions in Yangzhou, get there early as it really busies up later on in the day. We saw the solitary panda, red pandas, kangaroos and flamingos. We really went to see the panda and were not disappointed would like to see these in Chengdu.See more..

Very friendly ancient town next to Grand Canal. Usual tourist stuff to buy but not over priced. Took an unauthorized boat tour across canal with local fisherman for 25rmb for 3 of us. Stopped to adjust his nets then went through the dredgers on other bank. Try the water wheel near the entrance....But mind your shins.See more..
