Worth a one-day trip
One of the famous tourism places in Tianmuhu area and it is worth a one-day trip for either a outdoor hike or a more relaxed trip. Upon entering, a 20+ mins walk through paved and shaded path along the streams leading up to the next section. You could also opt for an electric minibus / train ride instead. You now have the options to 1. either take the tram to an ancient village atop a hill where there is traditional lion dance performance (quite impressive imo), bamboo exhibition museum and a small zoo with pandas. The tram is very popular though, so pick your time if you want to avoid the crowd and queue 2. or take the cableway (or take the climb alternatively) up another hill above the green and scenic namesake bamboo forest which was quite a breezy and comfortable ride even in the hottest day when I visited Then double back on the route where you started back to the main gate to finish the trip.

Great view and walk
It was a good walk with great views just to waste time while in Liyang. Would visit it again for the fresh air and serene atmosphere. There's a huge buddha head at the middle of the area great for photo-taking. There were a lot more stuff to do at the top of the place like cable car riding, panda bear exhibit, shopping, etc. but we didn't have time anymore. Would have been nice.

Great views
A great attraction although you would need a car or tour to get there. Not cheap especially for the funicular railway and it was extremely hot when we went a crowds of Chinese tourists. However the views are fantastic and it is a very interesting trip.
