   Experience hidden to the mountainside. The place is nothing like those Korean spas in the city. Take elevators to 3 to floor and go outside to find different pools hidden in the forest.    One of the famous tourism places in Tianmuhu area and it is worth a one-day trip for either a outdoor hike or a more relaxed trip. Upon entering, a 20+ mins walk through paved and shaded path along the streams leading up to the next section. You could also opt for an electric minibus / train ride instead. You now have the options to 1. either take the tram to an ancient village atop a hill where there is traditional lion dance performance (quite impressive imo), bamboo exhibition museum and a small zoo with pandas. The tram is very popular though, so pick your time if you want to avoid the crowd and queue 2. or take the cableway (or take the climb alternatively) up another hill above the green and scenic namesake bamboo forest which was quite a breezy and comfortable ride even in the hottest day when I visited Then double back on the route where you started back to the main gate to finish the trip.    This scenic spot is beautiful little island that requires loads of walking up to the mountain. Will not recommend to visit with young children because there is loads of walking up and down to the mountain. Choose carefully a warm season for visit because during the winter there is nothing to see. The butterfly garden and other attractions are not that good, but the nature is worth it. See more..

   新四军在茅山地区坚持游击战，指挥部就在水西村。这里是陈毅粟裕等战斗过的地方。指挥部是当地张家祠堂修改而来。祠堂占地面积并不小，但是那么多科室聚在这里，地方还是很局限，条件比较艰苦。粟裕大将在1984年去世，遗言将骨灰洒在自己战斗过的地方，于是部分骨灰送到了水西村。粟裕的夫人在2016年去世后，和粟裕合葬，在指挥部里有一个合葬墓。指挥部门口的四棵青松是粟裕夫人在1984年种下的，已经亭亭如盖了。旁边还有一个毛主席像章纪念馆，不是很大，里面收藏了一万多枚像章。还有一个将军书法长廊，里面有上百名将军的题字，各种书法形式都有，很有意思。这里很安静，空气也很不错，是个很好的革命教育基地。 See more..
