   Had a fabulous tour of Macedonia with our knowledgeable host Neil. We saw the real Macedonia that you would not get to see with any other tour company. The people are so friendly and welcoming. The tour held many surprises and the roads are a drivers heaven. This lesser travelled Balkan state has so much to offer and has some truly breathtaking scenery. Neil was always close to hand to give advice and support but was never claustrophobic and gave space when needed. A fantastic host. A fantastic experience and a fantastic country. Would recommend 100% and am already thinking about our next Classic Car Holidays trip just need to decide on which one. If Carlsberg did Balkan driving tours!!! See more..

   Gabrovo is a town called “Bulgarian Manchester”. The museum is an interactive walk trough the history of the town from the industrial perspective from it’s creation to nowadays. Very impressive and interesting. 3 floors covering different periods + modern interactive and entertaining ending at the last floor. The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.    When you visited Old Town of Tryavna, it’s walking distance from the Center. No fee to pay, very calm, relaxing and quiet Church. Not so huge as compare to others that we’ve visited but the rich history from the arts and the architecture of the church itself shows how old it’s been built.     Los iconos fueron pintados por iconógrafos de la familia Vitan, los murales fueron hechos por las familias de Zahari y Pop DImitar Kancho y la talla, por Dimitar Doykovcheto. Gencho Kanev trabajó en el púlpito de la iglesia.

I liked the representation of the school system from more than 200 years ago, but the museum had also an art exhibition by a famous BG artist and an exhibition of antigue clocks.     For someone who has seen this fortress years ago, I was extremely nicely surprised of the great job done there! You can walk throughout the ruines from the anchient city safely, there are lights, signs, paths and stairs. Everything is well organized, and there are places to rest on the way up.
