   Cannot recommend this enough! The experience itself is great, but moreover Casey and her partner are such great storytellers. The Truffle Hunt + Lunch after did not feel scripted but was more of an open conversation with the group with a lot of knowledge shared. Casey also shared with us some of the upcoming plans she has for the area - all very exciting.    Considered by many to be one of Bulgaria's most talented painters of the 20th century this artist was also a very good draughtsman and teacher . This statue to Vladimir Dimitrov ( 1882 - 1960 ) is very well detailed and shows the artist in later life,for some reason TripAdvisor has the address as Frolosh,Kocherinovo ,this was were the artist was born,the statue is actually found in Sofia on Ul. Moskovska in the Royal Gardens and is most definitely well worth checking out if your in the area. See more..

    The museum in Kyustendil is relatively small, and you can easily go through it even for 1 hr. But do not hurry. Give yourself some time to learn more about this town history. You will be amazed to understand how many cultures have been there, what they have left as traces. The collection of artifacts also tells the story well. I am a Bulgarian so you might think that I do tend to give higher rating just because this fact. I may be but I have also experience of many other countries and museums. What makes this place unique is that you will find very good collection from 4-5 century BC with Thracian artifacts, then huge evidence of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman times. That's a lot of things to see in one place. So do enjoy your stay there ... take baths and go to Osogovo mountains also! See more..

    At the beggining of august, we decided to do some trekking, that's how we reached peak Musala and next stop was peak Vihren. Our group of 5, had no plans in stopping at Saparevo Banski, but we're thankful that before going to Bansko we found out about the place and stopped for half a day to enjoy and recover between the 2 climbing. It was such a nice experience that we decided to come back after Vihren, and was once more a wise and joyful experience.     This place is a must see when visiting Kystendil. The locals that work in the Baths don't really speak English. However, they are very kind and helpful. It costs about 3leva - roughly 1.75$ for the entry. You have cold, warm and hot baths with two separate areas to relax and soak in some mineral water. Leaving this place you feel extremely relaxed with soft skin. I would recommend that you bring your own towel, flip flops and soap. They provide you with a sheet to dry off at the end but no soap. You should also know that this is a public bath - one side for men and the other for women. You are completely nude in the baths. I didn't see anyone with bathing suits.     This site is a scam. I booked a flight with them to fly on United as I needed to get to Iowa at a certain time for business. They called the next day and told me this flight was canceled. They booked me on a different flight with southwest at a later time. They told me I had no choice and the United flight was not refundable. Yet this new flight was 100 dollars more and fully refundable. I found out that the exact United flight was not canceled. In fact I went to United and booked with them directly the same flight I booked originally. When I went back to get a refund there automated system put me on hold for over an hour. I send an email and left a message to no avail. They are a scam and I reported them to my credit card as well. As far as I am concerned they lied, cheated, stole, and then ran not answering the phone or returning calls. By the way they snuck in a 200.00 dollar charge.
