Charming
I have visited many such old schools as I am from Bulgaria. This one is very charming. I liked the representation of the school system from more than 200 years ago, but the museum had also an art exhibition by a famous BG artist and an exhibition of antigue clocks. But were very nice suprises.

Nice
A very litlle museum, situated in the historic part of the city of Tryavna. The building is an historic one (it was the first bulgarian school in the country).

Back to school
The old school is now a museum with a few rooms that can be visited. Only one room shows and tells a bit of the old history of the place. The others contain exhibitions of paintings and old books and clocks. The yard is open until late at night and one can climb up the stairs although the museum is closed. Restorations works are beautiful. The ticket lady/curator had the best English (although not very good) I heard in Bulgaria.
