    Sohoton Cove image
Sohoton Cove is perfectly covered with valleys, hilltops, soft-sandy white beaches, beautiful forests and mountains. The best way to explore and discover every nook and corner of the enigmatic and charming island is on a pump boat. Boat rental is gradually becoming a popular trend in the island but ONLY A FEW boats are being rented out at affordable prices. See more..

Number 2 was a very nice cave but not very difficult. Even for beginners a good choice. You should wear good shoes (it is partly slippery). You will pay for the guide and you have the chance to buy water from the guides too. I hope to go back to Surigao and we want to explore more of the Multi Caves there See more..

    Kutang Bato Caves image
The caves were used in Spanish times by the Moros who did not submit to Spanish Rule. The caves are located in Pedro Colina Hill and allegedly goes out into Tamontaka river, spanning several kilometers. At present, only the entrance part is developed. This could have a vast tourism potential if fully developed. See more..
  6. 4.5 Blue Water Cave (7 reviews)
    - An adventurer's paradise
Spent 1-2 hours Caverns & Caves
    Blue Water Cave image
This place is a must visit for adventurous travelers. You have to trek on a mountain path alongside sheer cliff and limestone walls. Then you have to go downwards towards the river. When you reach the bottom, you have to climb above marble stones and then you will be rewarded by a very nice view of merging water of the cave with the river water. You can enter the cave and be amazed with the enchantingly bluish pools of water inside. The water is crystal clear and so clean that you can even directly drink from it. The water is very cold also as it is coming from deep within the mountains and flows out through this water carved cave. See more..
  7. 4.0 Magkukuob Cave (7 reviews)
    - Unexpected adventure
    Spent < 1 hour Caverns & Caves
Going in is a breeze. In the cave you’ll end up in an end that’s pitch dark, the boatman goes up first and then one by one he will guide you how to go up about 10+ feet up, he will point the flashlight where you would hold on to or step on to. You will go out through the side of a cliff. They made some steps going down to this ledge/diving board and you will jump from there to the water to go back to your boat. My 8 year old made it. It was fun. See more..

    Punta Diwata Cave image
I got to visit Punta Diwata Beach Resort last October 7, 2018 and I was really amazed by the beauty of it. Emerald-colored and not so deep water (perfect for me since I'm not a good swimmer :p) plus they also have 3 cave, though I was just able to enter 2 caves. Cave #2 has lots of balinsasayaw birds (the source the famous bird's nest soup) while Cave #3 is much bigger and I love the color of the cave. The best part is, entrance is only 20 pesos per person and cottage as low as 150 pesos. Punta Diwata Beach Resort is a must visit place in Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental See more..

  15. 5.0 Alina and Okbot Cave (1 review)
    - Great Spelunking Adventure
    Caverns & Caves
    Alina and Okbot Cave image
For first-timer like me the experience was awesome. I didnt thought it would be as great as it is. Seeing another natures wonder feels so great. It was tiring walking w few ascent, descent and crawling. But for a beginner on spelunking, it was so fun as we felt like we were on a short military training. It was great indeed. We booked d 1 day package only for 4999.00(its cheap) for a group of 10 inclusive of skull guard, headlamp, guides, cert. and transport(by single motor) from Kapalong tourism office to Brgy. Suaon and walked through the cave's entrance for less than 30 minutes , 1 day means only 2 caves. since we booked only for 1 day, we started travelling from Davao City at 5am by bus and we reached kapalong tourism office b4 the 7am orientation time and headed to brgy suaon immediately after the orientation. Riding on a single motorcycle was bit scary and tiring for me as i wasnt used to this but its what we saw inside the cave were all worth it. Stalagmite and stalactite were not that big and awesome as compared to what I saw in jenolan caves in austrlia but it was still great seeing another beauty of nature. Plus the accomodating tourism officer sir nonoy and the friendly guides. and n d beighborhood we took advantage of eating buco / young coconut for only 5 pesos which is so cheap compared to 20 pesos buco price in Davao City. :D By the way Okbot Cave is 90% water so get ready to get wet and trust me its fun.
