Before, there was only 1 bridge that connects the east and west coast of butuan city, it is called Magsaysay Bridge. This is very old bridge that it is always in its repair mood, until early 2000 when this suspension bridge that will alternate the existing bridge was conceptualized and later on built. During the day, many joggers made DMSB a busy area, and in the night, it is refreshing to see its lights in every post.
