It was a nice experience coming to this cathedral attending the mass for the first time and some other times, attending a wedding twice. But only lately when i went around the vicinity of this beautiful and serene place of worship that i saw its exceptional beauty. The back portion is like a castle different from the facade. This was made at around a decade ago and it is now becoming a popular destination for visitors not only for attending the mass but also to see the unique features within the compound. The biggest rosary i have ever seen.See more..

Well, we haven't actually gone inside the church because it was already night time. But the church is located in front of a Plaza where every night, the offer a free Zumba class. It's clean and it's a great place where children can play and even ride a bike. What I enjoyed was the fountain. It has different lights as if they were dancing. See more..
5.0San Augustin's Church(2 reviews) - historical church for them Churches & Cathedrals just a simple church each of us loves their own local churches.. the important is to pray and give thanks See more..
This church is very close to me as I have been frequenting this church since I was a kid whenever we're in Bayugan. Bayugan, was the hometown of my late grandmother. This church was where the last rites for my mom, grandma, grandpa, uncle and other relatives on my mother's side were given. The church is along the national road so it's very accessible and the municipal/city hall is on the next block of it too. The church is not that big and but ventilation is good because the side walls are steel grills.See more..
4.0Sheik Karimol Makhdum Mosque(1 review) - First Mosque/ Masjid in The Philippines, 1380. Historic Sites • Architectural Buildings • Churches & Cathedrals
We went there to Simunul by ferry or medium sized boat. The Masjid is well kept, and the original wooden columns are still kept intact. The people on the Barangay or on the island are very hospitable. The island is serene and beautiful. The Masjid was built by Sharieff Karim Al Makhdum in 1380 long before Magellan and The Spaniards came into ThePhilippines in 1521. We passedby some islands that were dotted or covered with white sands.See more..
We don't have (much) old churches in Davao region and it's good to know that at least we have one in Caraga. Completed construction in 1884, this beautiful church will surely take you to the Spanish era. See more..
The Major Land Mark of Kidapawan, Kidapawan comes from the Manobo words “TIDA” which means spring and “PAWAN” meaning highland. The city is found at the foot of the majestic Mt. Apo, the country’s tallest mountain making it a great spot and first-rate tourist attraction. Kidapawan City plays a pivotal role in the economic development of the province and its adjacent areas, It is situated at the southeastern section of Cotabato province, placed in the middle of other major cities of Davao, Cotabato, General Santos, Koronadal, and Cagayan de Oro. It also boasts of agricultural productivity that can provide a strong base for much-required industries. Given it cool climate and far from the typhoon belt. Rubber tree plantation are among the most fast booming industries here in the area. Loving each day at Kidapawan!See more..
3.0Maria Auxiliadora Cathedral(1 review) - Witnessing in the midst of Maranao people Churches & Cathedrals Marawi City in Lanao del Sur is a city where majority of the population are Maranaos (meaning people of the lake). They are one of the muslim Filipino tribes in Mindanao. I hate to say this, but of all the cities I have been in the Philippines (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao), Marawi is one of the less maintained in terms of ecological solid waste management. Nevertheless, a seat of the Prelature of St. Mary in Marawi is the midst in the city. There are Christians living in the city and the cathedral with is titular of Mary, Help of Christians. Feast day is May 24. This was erected through the initiative of late Bp. Bienvenido Tudtud, a man of interreligious dialogue. When in Marawi, don't forget to drop by on the cathedral and pray.See more..
