4.0Cloud 9 Surfing Tower(170 reviews) - Time to appreciate the wind and the waves Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lookouts
You can have a better glimpse of the Siargao sunrise and sunset here. Once you arrive at the tower itself, you can just appreciate the wind and the waves. Don't worry, there are hand-made wooden and bamboo seats were you can flake out. But the best part here in Cloud 9 are the waves. Be careful when it's already dusk or dark as the lights along the wharf is limited.See more..
Due to a change of plans, my family and I unexpectedly went here on the opening night, last March 24. The line was long but was well worth the wait. I love the BBQ and their flavored buchi! I haven't encountered strawberry, matcha, chocolate or ube flavored buchi in Manila. So yummy! (We even went back by Tues to buy buchi as pasalubong, lol) At the end of the food stalls, there are also masseuses offering services and then after were the ukays. I liked the selection of clothes available there, good material at a very affordable price. Very memorable experience, will definitely go back here on my next trip.See more..

4.0Plaza Heneral Santos(74 reviews) - Excellently maintained, attractive central park Points of Interest & Landmarks
This central General Santos park is fairly large and extremely well maintained with friendly staff. I saw a couple of reasonably attractive butterflies. The park suffers a little from the constant traffic noise (motorbikes and honking of horns) but is otherwise a restful place with some good seating and wel maintained statues of major historical figures in local and Filipino general history. It is a credit to the city government.See more..

We read about it here and said, lets do it. So we drive with a multi-cab to day-asan. There we find Julito and hire him for the boat tour. He is a funny guy and a good guide. After visiting the floating village and tour thru the mangroves we landed on a small coral-beach where we did a little swimming and snorkeling. The site was not so fabulous but still you find starfishes, some corals small fishes and more. Later we proceed to the real great coral reef which was described here before. Unfortunately the current was so strong that we could not go for snorkeling there. But Julito had an idea. Just hang on on the ropes from my boat while i will drive slowly over the corals. So we did and what we saw was breathtaking. Corals so large and colorful and unharmed by tourists. Lots of fishes and other animals. Really beautiful! Thank you Julito for this experiance.See more..

5.0Mount Redondo Natural Bonsai Forest(3 reviews) - Amazing Bonsai forest on Dinagat Island Spent More than 3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Lookouts • Scenic Walking Areas
The Mount Redondo Natural Bonsai Forest covers an estimated area of more than 100 hectares of century-old "Bonsai" forest. I went there with friends. You need a 4X4 vehicle to there. You also need to obtain permission from the mining company which is working in the area. This company owns the access road which is really a rough road. You have to pass through the mining area which is not very nice. I had never seen a bonsai forest before and it exceeded my expectations. It is really beautiful and unique. The flora is unlike anything I have seen before. There are very big pitcher plants and really tiny ones. During our visit there were lots of clouds on Mount Redondo. Views on a bright day must be amazing. Would love to come back here and do some trekking. To get there you will have to charter a vehicle which will be expensive. I was lucky to go there with a group of friends.See more..
