4.0People's Park(509 reviews) - Free, Safe and Nice - A Reflection of Davao City Sunday: 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM, 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM Parks

3.5Maxima Aquafun(129 reviews) - Excellent snorkelling off Samal Island - this is not in Davao City Water Parks
This attraction is on Samal island, not in Davao City. I have asked TA to correct the map location and listing. I hired a tricycle for an expensive P1500 day tour that included Maxima. Make sure you go to 'Maxima resort' and not the 'house' as we initially did. There is a funicular to take one down almost to sea level. General admission is P300 but my driver was free. The snorkelling off the pier was terrific. Many varieties of fish, including some medium sized pelagics. I especially enjoyed the Harlequin fish. Staff were pleasant: I had a satisfactory light meal at the restaurant. On weekdays the forest canopy walk is not open. The good snorkelling alone made this a worthwhile visit. It is not suitable for the disabled as there are steps in a few places, including down to the pier.See more..

For an hour or two, we just dropped by in this resort as part of our city itinerary. We had our lunch in the resort’s restaurant… pretty good food but slow service. With your entrance fee of 50php, the free shuttle around the resort could do you the favor of seeing the whole resort without walking under the extreme afternoon heat.See more..

It was exceedingly timely. The crisp chilly weather i have always looked forward to whenever i went out of trips to places known to have a refreshing and gorgeous views such as Hoyohoy Stone Chapel in Tangub City, Misamis Occidental. A quiet respite from the hustles and dazzles of the metropolis, the very cool and fresh air i breathe in the moment i got out of our car, and the splendid view of Mount Malindang was exactly my ideal sight of that day. A perfect view for getting selfies, capture the beautiful stone chapel and rock formations while having a serene time capturing the greenery down below. If you are into adventure, you might want to try zip lining too but be sure to visit the place earlier since a lot of tourists line up to explore and get themselves hanging on out there as well. Given another opportunity, i will certainly be back. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️See more..

4.0Pasonanca Park(39 reviews) - Tree house stay in 1965! Parks
Forget the date required by this site. My trip to Mindinao--to Zamboanga--was part of a journey I took in 1965 at the age of 19. Sold my car and travelled throughout the Philippines, assisted by a family I knew, though the journey was for the most part solo. Spent one night in the treehouse. Safe, I suspected at that time that the last thing ANYone wanted was for harm to come to me. I was truly considered a guest. The custom then--perphaps still is--is to leave some token--canned food was the term of trade then--for the comfort of the next guest. Then, found my way to a floating muslim community where I filmed some celebratory dances. Then off to Manila and Hong Kong--a shadow of what it is now--alone, all alone, and fully free. It was wonderful.See more..
4.0Davao Zorb Park(35 reviews) - Fun for the whole family! Amusement & Theme Parks
We wished we had brought all the kids! We got a free pass to the Walk n' Water ball park after riding the Zorb ball. It was a short drive closer to the crocodile park itself. There is a small pond there and you stand inside a giant inflatable ball which they inflate with a big air blower. Then you try and walk or stand on water! It was absolutely hilarious fun watching each other try and stand. I wish someone had been video taping it. The only thing is, I am a little claustrophobic and it did get a little stuffy inside that plastic ball! But it was really fun. It is surprisingly hard to walk on water and we ended up mostly flopping around.See more..
4.0Paseo de Santiago(32 reviews) - Very pleasant evening Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Parks

Although I have not stayed here, my fiance and I visited the resort and ate breakfast there and used the wifi to catch up with emails and news. RR Resort is 3 years old and sits on a hill overlooking Pulangi Lake. Being new, the resort is in excellent condition and is very scenic. There are 5 pools at the resort and many attractions for kids, including playground and lots of animal statues. Be prepared to walk up and down a lot of stairs while you are there (although 1 person has said that there are golf carts to help you get around if needed). One problem for couples is that the smallest private overnight accommodation is a duplex cottage which can serve 4 people at PHP 2500 per night. Although expensive for 2 people only, I still believe that this is a fair value and hope to stay there sometime in the future. There is an entrance fee of PHP 40 per person to enter the resort. Payments are cash only at this time.See more..

If you are a tourist and it’s your first time to visit Cagayan de Oro City, you have to visit this place. It’s also near the Cathedral, the Tower museum and the City Hall. There are times when they turn on the dancing fountain and it’s a nice sight to behold at night.See more..
4.0Freedom Park(12 reviews) - At night it comes alive! Parks
During the day, it is just a city square... A car park. But in the evening the whole area becomes a market place. Plenty of street food, and stalls selling clothes, and most everything else too.See more..
It's always great to be back home! ❤ If you want to go somewhere serene, and you want to just stroll around or even have a chitty moment with family & friends, there's no place like the Kaamulan Park! It's really accessible from the City's main road. Just ask random pedestrians & they'll let you know how easy it is to find. I just love how green everything is! It makes you feel alive. The sound of the water flowing from the creek & the chirping birds makes you feel like you're really at home. There's even a theater for events & the "Bahay Kubo" is "the landmark." I love it! Love it! See more..
San Agustin botanical park is a nature escape just few minutes drive away from the city. The road going there is cemented. there is a 2 floor view deck that allows one to see 360 degrees around the area. There isn't much to do and see there yet but the place is so big, I'm excited to go back when it's fully developed. For now, if you just want to feel the breeze and have a picnic under the trees, then you may want to check this place.See more..

I saw Waig Spring Resort here in Trip Advisor and planned to visit aince last December. This month, my family and I were able to finally enjoy this lovely place. The room we had is clean and affordable, our food is delish, well presented and budget friendly. The only thing is, if you plan to have dinner after 6:30 pm, you need to preorder it because their cook doesn't stay in the vicinity at night. The place also has a cable car and with 20 pesos per person one way, my son had a blast! The pool slides can use some upgrade, though. We were very satisfied of their friendly service. See more..

4.0Pagadian Rotunda(5 reviews) - Beautiful scene during clear weather Parks
It's a downhill and steep path going to city proper. Best time to take a picture of this place is during sunny and clear weather. This national park preserves the area around this mountain range, including natural habitats and small villages, largely surrounded by pineapple fields. There are a variety of activities here, including hiking, mountain climbing, and wildlife viewing. A guide is invaluable and permit to enter the park is mandatory. We came for birding, and stayed at the Del Monte Lodge accessed by horse and foot from the northeast side of the park near the town of Dalwangan. The Lodge is well known among birders, has good resident guides, and easy access to good trails; facilities are very modest but adequate. We also made a day trip to access the park from the southeast side at Cinchoca Park, Kaatuan, Lantapan. We most wanted to see the Philippine eagle and other endemic species, and were fortunate to have good views of many. Many more details for planning at the park's official site: http://www.mkrnp.org/about_kit.php.See more..

4.0Luan-Luan Spring(2 reviews) - 8 feet deep free-flowing spring water pool Water Parks
Just a few meters away from the center of the municipality of Quezon, Bukidnon, you can take a nice cold and refreshing dip at a very, very minimal cost (I think it was P20, or less) as it's run by the municipal government itself. Operations are until 8pm. Side note: I was lucky to talk to one of the prominent officials there, and I like that they think about the locals and didn't privatized the spot. In return, the locals patronize the place. Some economics stuff... Now that's what I call a self-sustaining place.See more..

4.0Splash Away Waterpark(1 review) - Family Fun Swim Spent More than 3 hours Water Parks
People in Lanao Norte don't have to drive to pools or resort in the next city just for a swim or family get-together. Thanks to this new A+ resort in town. It's highly accessible. It's situated just along the national highway; bounded between 2 towns of Baroy and Lala. It's just 15 to 20-minute drive from Tubod (provincial capital of LDN) or from the commercial hub barangay Maranding. The spacious function hall can cater 400pax for a rent of P10k and for a maximum of 6-hour use. (Well, this was the info I got during my very recent visit. And I will be going back next week for my bestfriend's wedding *wink* offtopic). It opens as early as 6am for your morning swim and closes at 5pm. Prepare P100 pesos for entrance fee. If you're up for a pure night dip, night swimming starts at 6pm 'til you froze at 11pm. Night swimming is for another fee but if you want to get in right at the very early opening hours (6am) straight to closing time (11pm), it only costs you P150. (Hope fees will not increase this soon.) I shouldn't forget to mention that they also have a rooms for big group (they're also constructing rooms for couple), and a small chapel for your quick "retreat" :). Tips: Love crabs and shrimps? There are sellers across the street. I have also spotted a small eatery beside the crabs stall. (The resort also has canteen for munchies and serves short orders though.) Hope I have helped. Have fun with your family and friends!See more..
