Another Gem

Sohoton Cove is perfectly covered with valleys, hilltops, soft-sandy white beaches, beautiful forests and mountains. The best way to explore and discover every nook and corner of the enigmatic and charming island is on a pump boat. Boat rental is gradually becoming a popular trend in the island but ONLY A FEW boats are being rented out at affordable prices.

    Another Gem
Sohoton Cove is a 2hr boat ride from General Luna and less than 2hrs from Surigao Del Sur. We were staying in GL and it took us that long. Actually 2hrs wont be that long when you have your loved one and friends along. Once we reached Sohoton we were awed by the place. Having clear waters whatever the shade they have and great scenery, very IG worthy. We went in a cave and the other cave you need to climb up an exit and jump off a cliff.. there is no other way back :). After the caves and a tour around the lagoons we had a supmtous lunch in the Floating Resto. Food was fresh as F' :) .. After the diet wrecking lunch we headed to the Jelly Fish Sanctuary which was very educational and amazing. We swam with the jelly fishes and even held them.. Visit this gem really soon and do not leave your trash. PLEASE keep such places this nice.

    Very organized
The trick to having a good experience at Bucas Grande is to get a good package where they prepare everything. Our experience was awesome, everything was well prepared from the time we arrived at the port, to the food, up to the time we headed home. All we had to do was enjoy. The stingless jellyfish was one of the major highlights of the trip, as for the caves it would only be recommended for the young since there are a few places that you need to crawl into.
