4.5Stancija Collis(114 reviews) - Doesn’t get better than this Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Wineries & Vineyards • Farms
We had the most incredible experience. The tour was super informative and interesting. Afterwards we were treated to the best wine and cheese/meat/olive oil tasting. Even though we jumped in with a big tour group, Sasha made a point to make us feel included. He taught us a ton about the farm and croatia in general. The fresh goat cheese was the best I’ve ever had. We could not be more satisfied with our experience and felt it was a great price. We left with 2 bottles of wine and a new croatian friend.See more..

5.0Rossi Winery(36 reviews) - Top location with a view Wineries & Vineyards
We heard about that winery and by chance when we went to see it in that area. We found the property with GPS and we just said "wow"... there were a lot of cars and a large parking lot behind the winery. The view is enchanting looking west (Poreč and Novigrad) and the surrounding hills full of vineyards. A wonderful terrace with people enjoying these pleasures. We drank their "Teran" and a cocktail and bought a couple of bottles and talked a little with the owner. A woman who is down to earth and you can see how much effort has been put into everything and the whole family is dedicated to that winery. A very nice story!See more..

Beautiful Rovinj on the Istrian coast in Croatia boasts several excellent wineries. We have visited five and Vivoda is an excellent choice. Like so many wineries in this area, it is a family owned and run winery. The wines are white Malvasia (which carries the IQ (Istrian Quality) mark), (they have a one year old (young) Malvasia and a delightful two year old. Most local wineries make an “orange” wine which (for Vivoda) is a Malvasia that spent 10 days fermenting on skins and a further 10 days on skins before pressing and storing. Every local winery makes a Teran, a local red grape, and a Merlot, both of which were delicious. The wine tasting is free, some other wineries charge and provide some food tasting samples.See more..

5.0Cattunar(4 reviews) - A very high grade winery that deserves to be much better known Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
We randomly chanced upon this vineyard while driving along Istrian back roads. To our amazement, it turned out to be not only a clean and modern operation but one which makes much of its unique selling point of having vines growing on 4 different local soil types, thereby yielding differential flavours from identical grape varieties. These are, furthermore, presented in beautifully labelled bottles that achieve a really elegant appearance. After a tasting session with their highly competent and very friendly export manager, we ended up buying a box of six that later required purchase of an additional piece of luggage!See more..

5.0Lunika Wines(2 reviews) - Personalized tasting Spent < 1 hour Wineries & Vineyards Quaint, family owned and operated winery near Rovinj, with a cozy tasting space inside (with an open fireplace during the winter/colder months). The sommelier, Sinisa, was very knowledgeable and gave a great tasting, including a little walk out to the vineyard itself before the tasting. No signage out front (as the other reviewer said), but Sinisa met us at the entrance gate at our agree-upon time, so not a biggie. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a more personalized wine tasting experience in Istria.See more..
4.0Vina Visintin(1 review) - Wine tour and tasting Monday Sept.10, 2018 Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
A group of travel friends (20 plus tour operator) stopped here after a truffle hunting tour and lunch in Livade. The winery is right above the village and easy to access. This nothing fancy but very authentic and user friendly. The owner / winemaker did the short "tour" and explanation of his operation. We then sampled some of his wines. The Reserve white was very good and so were the reds. He was very nice and obviously dedicated to producing high quality wines, at least those under his label since he also produces a lot of local "house wines". This is an easy add-on to being in Livade and Motovan and we recommend stopping here if you are in the area (there is a wine route with other wineries available so you could make a day of wine tasting).See more..
5.0Monte Rosso(1 review) - Monte Rosso wines, olive oils and produce for sale direct from the vineyard! Wineries & Vineyards
Great to drive past this lovely vineyard and olive groves and have a shop right beside the road where you can pop in, try, taste and buy direct! Super helpful lady who spoke fluent English in charge (Isla) who talked us through the wines and we enjoyed delicious snacks with extra virgin olive oils. Tours available, and great views of the Adriatic and Piran from the vineyards. It's a place to taste regional produce and soak up some Istrian atmosphere, sitting out under chestnut trees enjoying life. Having visited this part of Istria for nearly 20 years, it's good to see new wineries springing up and taste exciting new wines.See more..
Our story began a few decades ago with a dozen ranks of malvasia in a small field called “Zardin”, which is a bit distorted pronunciation of the word garden in French. Equal part of family business is the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. We planted the first olives in 1998. At the beginning we had 500 trees, and today there are about 5,500, located in the olive groves above the Mirna River...See more..
