A must when in Istria
Even though I am from Istria, I discovered Pilato wines through a distributor in the USA, so when I tried their wine, I decided it was time to pay the visit. First of all, it is a wonderfully warm, welcoming atmosphere. We were lucky enough that almost the entire family was there and that you got to know them and talk to them about their wine and passions, which for me, is always the best part of wine tasting. The Pilato family is kind, hardworking, and friendly people. When it comes to wines, all varietals are delicious, and no wonder they won awards at Decanter with high ratings. In the end, we also tried their olive oil, which thoroughly impressed me because I had no high expectations since I came cause of wine, but also it is one of the best Istrian olive oils I tried. All in all, lovely place, family, wines, and olive oil – a must when in Istria!

Amazing views, delicious wines.
They had a number of excellent wines available, and staff were extremely kind and helpful during the tastings
