Great malvasia
If you go to Istra dont't miss wine roads and especially Radovan winery. Their malvasia is great wine. They are very friendly and educative.

Low key presentation of world class wines. One of the Istrian greats.
Radovan's 2018 wines turn out even better than his nearly legendary 2015s, but he keeps remarkably modest about it. And what a display of skill and knowledge! Not just in his end product, but in Mr. Radovan himself. The winery is well signed out --a good thing as it is hidden at the end of a narrow street though a warren of same, in the tiny village of Radovani. Best always to call ahead to make sure he's in. Beware of the dog who'll wag you to death otherwise
