5.0Kauai Backcountry Adventures(15.7k reviews) - Floating Fun for Sure! Saturday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
We enjoyed a family vacation in Kuaui and the Tube ride was a very fun activity for all of us. Briden was an informative guide! We were so fortunate as our original date was cancelled due so storms so we were able to rebook for another day. Everyone was friendly and responsive. While the tubing was fantastic we had the unique treat of being serenaded by one of the guides who played the ukulele and sang country/Hawaiian songs in the tunnels. It was absolutely beautiful and memorable! The tunnels provided great acoustics! Overall it was such a fun adventure. We watched the toddler grandkids another day so all adults could experience the fun! While everyone had a unique experience everyone felt it was a highlight of our week together! Thanks to Kauai Backcountry Adventures! We all bought tshirts as they are soft, well made and a reasonable price to remember our trip when we wear them! See more..
5.0Waimea Canyon State Park(8.501 reviews) - Definitely worth a visit! State Parks • Canyons • Lookouts
Also known as the Grand Canyon of the Pacific, this scenic state park overlooks the colorful Waimea Canyon, which stretches over 14 miles and is more than 3,600 feet deep. The park itself is famous for its scenic drive, panoramic lookouts, and hikes of varying difficulty. Depending on the time you visit, the canyon’s appearance can seem to change throughout the day—it’s best to visit earlier in the morning for fewer crowds and better visibility. You might even spot a rainbow, especially during the summer months. There are many ways you can tour the canyon, including a bike tour, or even from up top on a helicopter ride. – TripadvisorSee more..
5.0Warren & Annabelle's Magic(3.442 reviews) - The great night was no illusion, and the illusions were great Dinner Theaters • Theatre & Performances
Having read about Warren and Annabelle's in the Maui Revealed book didn't prepare us for the excellent time we had. The food and drinks were great and the atmosphere from entering to exiting was top notch. Most importantly, John George and Dana Daniels (with an assist from Dwayne the Psychic Bird) was worth the entire price of admission. With a packed but intimate theater, both magicians had us laughing and amazed at their illusions and waiting for the next one to come. Don't wait for the opportunity to visit; take the opportunity. You won't regret it.See more..

5.0CJM Country Stables(1.663 reviews) - Great ride!! Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Horseback Riding Tours
We have ridden with many stables in Hawaii and Jim's operation on Kauai was top notch. My wife has owned horses for 40+ years and has a keen eye for quality. CJM's horses are very well kept and the staff was helpful in matching up each rider to the appropriate horse based on their riding experience and other needs. The ride along Mahaulepu Beach was beautiful and the varied terrain was exciting to see. Our guide was informative, patient, watchful, and very friendly. We spoke at length with the stable owner Jim who was charming, pleasant, and funny and it was clear that the quality of the operation started at the top! We would highly recommend CJM to couples and families of all riding experiences to have a wonderful few hours on horseback in Kauai!! See more..

5.0Hawaiian Vanilla Company(1.448 reviews) - The BEST Tour on the Island! Saturday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Gardens
Ian, the owner, provided a very informative and entertaining tour of his vanilla farm. There was a cart available for those who needed a lift from the gift shop/restaurant down to the grow houses, and umbrellas (we had downpours!). Any information you could possibly want about the unique orchid that produces vanilla beans can be had, either in the presentation or by asking questions. We thought the lunch was too pricey, but after arriving in Hawaii and seeing restaurant prices, we wish we'd added on the reasonably priced vanilla-inspired luncheon! The gift shop is well-stocked (and the items are NOT at the airport). This was the BEST activity and/or tour we did on Hawaii! Highly, highly rated.See more..

We loved riding the paved Kauai bike path during our vacation. Unfortunately, I can't tell you the name of the bike rental shop we hired our bikes from as there was no name for the shop front and the owner said they don't actually want to go on Trip Advisor. However, we did hire our bikes easily for 2 hours near a car park facing the beach along the path, and it cost approximately $60 for our family of four. The coastline is really beautiful and it was an easy ride for our family. As other people said we simply wished this paved path was a longer distance. We highly recommend riding the Kauai Path!See more..

We found this hike to be an incredible experience. But a few warnings, make sure you have a parking permit or a shuttle ride or both (from gohaena.com). And make sure you have plenty of time for this hike, at least six or seven hours, depending on how long you want to spend at the falls. We are both experienced hikers and were surprised at how long this hike took. Also, bring at least two liters of water per person and snacks. It was well worth the trip, we would highly recommend this hike, it was the highlight of our Kauai visit. See more..

Cooper lead the in depth discussion which delivered everything they advertise, including their impact on the Big Island and in Kona Coffee. I sent two of my hand decorated coconuts to Pennsylvania on a Friday & they arrived the following Monday! Amazing! It was a fun unique thing to send & Im glad I did. I chose medium coconuts from the bin, coconuts are free, my postage was $20.00 for each coconut. Not too bad for a special one of a kind souvenir. You find your not as good of an artist once you start drawing on your coconut. The mail lady behind the counter was very nice! I laughed so hard when my daughter in law let me know it arrived. She said her postman said “ that’s the first time I ever delivered a coconut.” A good assortment of pens in all colors are provided for you. Definitely a lot of fun❤️See more..
If you ever have an opportunity to visit Kauai, Hawaii I would highly recommend a trip to the NaPali Coast. It appears that there are a variety of tours to view the NaPail Coast. Some people take a rafting excursion, others take a helicopter/small plane tours, and then there are those who attempt to hike the eleven miles on the quite challenging Kalalau Trail. I believe the Sierra Club has rated the NaPali Coast Kalalau Trail a 9 out of 10 for hiking difficulty. I chose the aircraft (60mins.) option and I must admit it was an amazing trip because it was the easiest option. I was thrilled to see one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. The NaPail Coast definitely equals unimaginable beauty. I suggest you add this adventure to your bucket list. It is well worth your time. However, please do your research before booking any tour because tour choice can make of break your experience. Enjoy your visit to the NaPali Coast!!See more..
5.0Polihua Beach(57 reviews) - So Worth The Trip Beaches
5.0Sweetheart Rock(31 reviews) - Fabulous walk with variety Points of Interest & Landmarks
Lanai isn't big on signs, so if you don't know about this, PLEASE check it out, but don't look for the sign. From Hulopo'e Beach, walk along the left side. Please take some time to explore the wonderful tide pools! From the place where the stairs go down to the tide pools, there's a little path to the left that will take you over to a beautiful arch rock and Sweetheart rock (which we've always called Chocolate Cake rock.) This is a VERY short hike that could be done in flip-flops. Bring your camera. You will see tide pools and beautiful water and rocks, a little beach that's difficult to get to ... and of course, the great rock. NOTE: there are no rails, and some very steep cliffs. If you have children, do not let go of their hands! :-)See more..

5.0Kawakiu Beach(8 reviews) - Beautiful beach - takes work to get to it! Beaches
On a hike towards Ilio Point in January of 2010 (never got all the way there), I passed Kawakiu Beach. I spent a bit of time enjoying the spot, and was the only one there the whole time. It's about a mile or so north of the west-end condos. The "road", if you can call it that, will take your 4WD vehicle's abilities to the edge. I was happy to get back without rolling mine onto it's side! In retrospect walking would have been safer. There were some other footprints in the sand; no telling how long they had been there. It may be possible to get to the beach the LONG way from the Mo'omomi area, but I doubt it - there are likely locked gates along the many miles of dirt roads one would have to use. I made a little webpage with pictures of Kawakiu Beach - enjoy! http://stevenmichelsen.com/Molokai/Ilio_point/See more..
The stop is not that long, but the views are simply amazing especially in the afternoon. The view up and down the coast is worth the stop along with the photo opportunities.See more..
5.0Heart of Lanai Art Gallery(1 review) - Art is Amazing Art Galleries It is a tiny island, few things to do. Art gallery lets you appreciate local creativity. They had interesting paintings and photos, some black and white covering Lanai history. Travel is both enjoyment and education, in that sense this art gallery is worth the visit. See more..

Having a resident of the island, who has a detailed historic knowledge of the area, explain what is being seen; really makes all these places come alive. See more..
