Saint Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Hawaii, United States

5.0 (193 reviews) Spent 1-2 hours Ranking #1 in Hawaii Churches & Cathedrals

The church and grounds are a good mix of Roman Catholic/Hawaiian.

Over the years we have gone to services at this church numerous times. The interior is beautiful and inspiring. I was a little disappointed the last time because they were not featuring the fantastic Hawaiian choir. We do have recordings from previous visits. Don't know if they still have those in the gift shop.

    Modern Catholic Church
Well attended large Catholic church in south shore Maui. A variety of masses and staffed office a well as a local community outreach.

    Beautiful church & music!
Thank-you for welcoming us to your Catholic Community for Mass during our visit to Maui. The church, all the foliage, and the music was beautiful. Our only "complaint" -- both the homilies were heard were "awkward". Perhaps the priest should write his homily in advance & read what he wrote beforehand. One homily practically said "if you beat your wife, but not enough to send her the hospital, it could still be considered a sin". what??? I had to remind myself, I go to mass for the Eucharist. If I get a good homily, that is just a bonus.
