Fantastic Luau in an amazing park
This was my first luau, but I would find it hard to believe that you could have any better experience, especially given this one is in the breathtaking Waimea Valley complete with a beautiful waterfall. We saw the 5 pm show and I wish we would have arrived even earlier to truly enjoy the park and swim in the falls. The cultural demonstrations were great and the host for the event was very entertaining and engaging. The dancing and show were very educational and took you through the history and different cultures. While there was a portion of traditional hula dancing, you are not going to find coconut bras at this performance. It was also some of the best pork we have ever eaten. The meal was plated, but there were plenty of seconds/thirds if you wanted. Also, the coconut cake was absurdly delicious. We spent a total of about five hours at the falls and the show and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Not to mention, the drinks were quite good, as well!

A Cultural Experience Not to Be Missed
If you are thinking of going to a Luau, don't waste your time and money on any other than Toa Luau! This luau was impressive and intimate, even with 190 guests. The cultural activities before the luau meal are fun as well as interesting. The staff is friendly and engaging during the entire event. The dinner is not rubber chicken dinner even though they are serving so many people. The roasted pork has amazing flavor and the included bar drinks are delicious too. The Polynesian dance show was an excellent representation of many of the Polynesian island. This is a family run business and they treat you like a cousin, aunt, or uncle. We would definitely go on our next visit to Oahu.
