So interesting!
We visited here on a recent trip to Kona and really enjoyed the short lighted walking tour of the lava tube/cave. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. I'd recommend to anyone in the area to learn more about the aftermath of a volcano.

Cool experience, wasn't keen on the guide
Getting to go down into the caverns was a really interesting and unique experience, I really enjoyed it. The guide had some pretty divisive opinions which he had no problems sharing in a close to 45-minute talk which appeared to be intended to be about the geology of the region, which soured the experience for me. For example, he had some pretty negative things to say about the protests at Mauna Kea, only to turn around and talk about how amazing it was that his conservancy was buying up land in Ocean View to protect the caverns from development. Pretty hypocritical and had no place in the tour.
