Floating Fun for Sure!

We enjoyed a family vacation in Kuaui and the Tube ride was a very fun activity for all of us. Briden was an informative guide! We were so fortunate as our original date was cancelled due so storms so we were able to rebook for another day. Everyone was friendly and responsive. While the tubing was fantastic we had the unique treat of being serenaded by one of the guides who played the ukulele and sang country/Hawaiian songs in the tunnels. It was absolutely beautiful and memorable! The tunnels provided great acoustics! Overall it was such a fun adventure. We watched the toddler grandkids another day so all adults could experience the fun! While everyone had a unique experience everyone felt it was a highlight of our week together! Thanks to Kauai Backcountry Adventures! We all bought tshirts as they are soft, well made and a reasonable price to remember our trip when we wear them!

Fun float in canals and through tunnels
Super fun and a chance to see new area of the island. We have been visiting Kauai for several years and found this new adventure this year. The whole experience is well organized. Even the drive to get to the tubing spot is filled with the guide providing the interesting history of sugar cane farms and the land where the canals were built. Floating gives you a good perspective of the interior of the island. The only thing that surprised me was the amount of spinning that happens while you float. Mostly because you don’t really steer a tube LOL I also loved the water hole near the picnic spot and would have come back just for that but it is behind a locked gate so no visiting on our own later, oh well. I really recommend this trip and our group included families with children and adults of all ages.

A Good Experience If You Come in With an Open Mind
It is not like any of the tubing experience I have had before, full of excitement and surprises. The team was experienced and professional in guiding us, setting up expectations, and ensuing everyone is safe and not to be left behind. A couple point to suggest as a feedback: 1. Make sure you bring a windbreaker or shirt/thin sweater on the bus ride, it was chilly, and even more so after you get wet. They tell you to leave most stuff back, I had to say, I should have listened to my own gut feelings. 2. The lunch was passable to say the most. We pay over $120 per person for the 3 hour activity, which we spent only about an hour in water. Lunch was included but it was was just cold cut with lettuce and tomato, all in plastic box the staff carry with them, and they set up a tent to put the boxes on a picnic table. There was only one kind of bread (which I could not even have as it has diary in it, and I am diary intolerant). So I just used the lettuce wrapping the cold cut meat, super cold after water activity, nothing hot at all. My stomach was hurting after eating their lunch. Then we had to ride the bus going downhill, which was chilly to begin with.
