We are NO BIG PRODUCTION! We are a very intimate luau who focuses on sharing the Hawaiian culture with you. We go from strangers to family within the few hours at our luau. A new standard for a backyard style luau. A unique, hands on, intimate and truly magical 5-Star experience. Our guests say this is everything they hoped for and more. Become part of our ohana as you visit the Nutridge Estate. Walk through a rainforest, help us build an imu (Hawaiian underground oven) and enjoy a "front row seat" throughout with our small group family style luau. We encourage everyone to come and experience the magic first-hand. Book your "truly magical" luau experience today!

A Luau without the hordes…
Smaller luau experience focused on the history and culture of the indigenous Hawaiian people on an hilltop with spectacular views and sunsets. The experience requires a little walking from venue to venue. My multi generational group loved the experience including the story telling, musical and dance performances, and indigenous games. The big surprise was the buffet which was well balanced and delicious from the green salad and spinach roll, the Okinawa purple sweet potato, to the pork and chicken, etc. The alcohol drinks and desserts were only ok. Overall all agreed the experience was memorable, educational, fun, and delicious.

Now Ohana of Nutridge
We enjoyed our experience at Nutridge with beautiful weather and the friendly staff. Going into it, we knew hulu dancing was not the focus of the program. There was not going to be all the fancy costumes you see in one of the big luau production outfits. Dancing is a component of a luau. But so is the preparing the food, playing games, and socializing with ohana and friends while enjoying good spirits. Food was plentiful and tasty. Kalua pork was moist and seasoned well. Chicken was flavorful but a tad dry. Most of the other menu items were sourced locally and prepared good. The bartender's standard drinks are a single shot and not watered down. If you want a stronger drink, spend the extra $6 and get a Nutridge Sunset with 2-1/2 shots of tequila. At Nutridge, you learn the why behind a luau party from the Pacific Islander perspective and get to talk to the performers, if this appeals to you, you will enjoy your time. If you want to see a staged production of Hulu dancing with hundreds of people, book elsewhere.
