   Was quite impressed by this hidden local gem. The complex has a fitness gym (which i cannot comment on since we didn't come for that) and a sauna common area with an outdoor pool and a restaurant. The place looks well maintained and is mostly for locals. cost is only 190 THB per person and small kids are free. You are given a towel and a change of clothes (shirt and shorts) which you can wear to sauna and pool, though you could just swim in your own costume. Once inside, the sauna complex has 1 steam room, 2 saunas with different temperatures, 2 small very cold pools and 2 warm/hot pools (1 each for men and women), 1 large common open air pool and a salt room, where you can relax by burying yourself inside the salt (you have to be dry though if you want to go in, and pay additional 20THB). This is set around the open air but covered restaurant which sells all kinds of drinks and thai food. They have quite a big variety of drinks and food, which are moderately priced, taste is good. Overall, a lovely place to relax if you like the sauna and pool experience, not too crowded. Its a little bit out of the way, about 15km from Bangsaen center, and 40km from Pattaya. I don't know if there is any way to get there besides by your own car, because it is hidden in the mainland, out of the way of the centers, near residential areas.     It's only a few years since Pattana Golf and Country Club first opened but it keeps getting better.every year. The clubhouse remains the same with extended catering of meals from early morning to late evening. There have been subtle changes to improve the golf course and the management has changed as well. The new team have take a big decision and banned groups of more than four playing. This allows them to offer a start time every eight minutes. This is great as every other club allows groups of five and six golfers to play and hold up everyone else on the course.. As visitors, we wish that every other golf course in Thailand would ban groups of more than four playing together. Thailand is the only country we know that allows this bizarre way of playing golf that slows play down to a crawl! See more..

    To begin with, the proper name for this attraction is Ko Loy (ko or koh meands island in Thai.. Ko Loy is a small island just 300 meters off the coast of Si Racha, a coastal town in Chonburi Province. It has a beautiful Chinese temple and commands stunning views back to Si Racha town and out across the Gulf of Thailand, where there are usually dozens of freight ships at anchor, waiting their next cargos. Ko Loy is connected to the mainland by a causeway. If you are planning on visiting Ko Loy you had better put the plans on hold for a while because the causeway is currently closed for massive renovation and reconstruction. I was impressed by the Ethiopian coffee served in a big bowl which is used at Japanese tea ceremony. The cafe serves fresh juice in this bowl in order not to use prastic straw.
