You can admire the intricate details of these expertly crafted replicas from the viewpoints around the ponds. You can rent a golf car or bike to cover the vast grounds, which are typically included in tours of the Ancient City. The sun in Thailand can be scorching, so wear plenty of sunscreen. -Romantic photo hunt
Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Speciality Museums
23 October 2020 - public holiday for some in Thailand.. And i took the morning to visit the Museum. Nearest BTS Chang Erawan.. And about a 10 minute walk from there.. Entrance 400 THB for tourists.. But if you jave a Thai work permit availabke you could pay THB 250 entrance fee. Welcome drink on arrival.. Some shops and a few food stalls.. For when you are done. This is more an active temple site than a museum with.. With the museum in the base of the elephant and no photography allowed of the pottery history tour. The three headed elephant is very well maintained in the interior and its an SNS influencers mecca for selfies and romantic mood pics.... You may spend about 2 hours here.. The garden is also well maintained with interesting sculptures temples and shrines.. Take time to meander through all of it. Covid regulations apply. Enjoy the visit! See more..

- 4.5 Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park And Botanical Garden (37 reviews)
-The best one-day trip near Bangkok!
Spent 2-3 hours Gardens
Normally, I drove to Pattaya or may be Amphawa or Hua Hin but this time we tried Bang Kachao or Sri Nahkhon Khuen Khan Park and Botanical Garden in Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan instead. See from the many reviews, you may also take BTS [Stop at Bang Na station] then you take the boat and you may rent a bike to go to this park, water market and explore this little island or so called 'The Green Lung of Bangkok' too. But as you know, we drove and rent a whole day bike [THB 50 per bike per day], we also bought some water and food to go along and the mission is only to bike, to stop for photos and to enjoy! Nice, fabulous, energy boosting and fun! Why? There are so many green stuffs, pond, birds and a lot of places for you to take nice photos to post on your social media. Try one day and you'll like it - See our great shots! See more..

Definitely don't pay for somebody to escort you on a trip you can perfectly well do yourself! Get yourself in a taxi to Khlong Toey Pier, pay 20 Baht per person each way to cross the river, hire a perfectly adequate bike for 80B or so from the shop on arrival and then mess around for an hour or two in Bangkok's green lung - Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan park. - 4.5 Ban Khun Samut Chin Museum (5 reviews)
-Outside the beaten paths
History Museums
Ban Khun Samut Chin ( phonetics sometimes alos Jiin ) is a small fisherman village located on a mangrove peninsula. It can only be reached bu boat taxi. The village is constantly fighting erosion. Once the boat taxi drops you off ate wooden pier, you need to march 500 meters straight to the village center. ( I guess around 100 inhabutants ) In the village you will find a small, slightly messy but highly interesting musuem, with a lot of old Thai and Chinese ceramic artifacts. ( Samut chin was originally founded by Chinese traders. ) The musuem has not fixed opening hours, but the mayor living next to it will be happy to open it for you. From the museum it is another kilometer by foot the Wat Khun Samut. On the way to the temple through the mangrove forest you will see local Fauna as walking fisch, one clawed crabs, birds, monitor lizards and flora typical for this area. The temple Wat Khun Samut is located below sea level, protected by recently erected flood walls. it is located in the middle of a beautiful scenery of sea and mangroves. See more..

The market is located on an off shore island and is very big. Each time I turned a corner, there is another line of food stalls. Good traditional thai food available. There are also shops selling T shirts and other stuff. If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle for 50 THB the whole day and cycle to the market. After that, you can cycle to visit "Sri Nakhon Khuen" park (2km away) and also visit "Siamese fighting fish gallery"(nearby) To get here, you can go to Bang Na BTS. After exiting, you will find motorbike taxis waiting to pick up passengers. Tell the rider you want to go to "Talad naam Ban Nam Pheung" and he will bring you to the pier to take a ferry. The ride costs 20 THB. The ferry will bring you across in about 5 minutes. Then, you pay 6 THB when you disembark. You will see a lot of bicycles and you can rent one. - 4.0 Muang Kaew Golf (31 reviews)
-Attitude needs improvement
Tuesday: 5:00 AM - 8:00 PM Golf Courses
Course is in fantastic condition and the layout is very enjoyable. Whats not good is the club allowing 5 balls and then letting them walk - the pace was painfully slow behind this group - we notified the martial but he didn’t deal with the slow pace of play and the group had no intention of letting us through. Poorly managed and this has happened here before - when addressed this with the shop they said this is how it is here - didn’t want to know. Very nice of you there are plenty of other choices to go to Another point - you park you car way from the clubhouse and no buggy to collect you like majority of other clubs Course and caddies good Management And regulations needs improvement Attitude when approaching then : poor See more..

- 4.0 The Royal Golf & Country Club (26 reviews)
-Morning Golf session
Golf Courses
Made a booking online and confirmed the tee time via email several weeks before. No issues. Actually got there earlier and they allowed us to slot into an open time. Rented clubs and bought used balls there. Caddies were very knowledgeable. Course layout was good. Hole 1 there was a large water hazard (lake) on the right hand side but the fairways in general were wide. It was just hole 1 and I didn't warm up properly so I lost a ball. Staff were friendly and ordered us a taxi to headlock to our hotel in Bangkok. Would recommend this course and hopefully will be back! See more..
- 4.0 Phra Samut Chedi (26 reviews)
-Pagoda in the river
Speciality Museums
Phra Samut Chedi locally called “Phra Chedi Klang Nam” or “Pagoda in the river”, located opposite Samut Prakan Provincial City Hall on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, was a brilliant white stupa on an island in the middle of the river that greeted foreigners arriving in Thailand over 150 years ago. The Chedi or stupa was originally built by King Rama II on an island partly naturally caused by the accumulation of sand brought down by flood waters, completed by King Rama III and later added its height to 38 meters by King Rama IV who wanted to show all visitors to Thailand that his people were Buddhists. Over the years the river was silted up even more and eventually the island became part of the river’s west bank. It houses 12 sacred relics of Lord Buddha, an image of Buddha “Phra Ham Samut“ in the posture of pacifying the ocean and an image of well-known monk “Phra Chai Wat”. Phra Samut Chedi is presently the proud symbol for Samut Prakarn Province. See more..
- 4.0 Wat King Kaew (9 reviews)
-An amazing temple, very close to Bangkok International Airport.
Spent 1-2 hours Churches & Cathedrals
Wat King Kaew is one of the best temples we have visited in SE Asia. It has a huge Buddha, beautifully clothed & maintained. There are so many shrines and other buildings, fountains, etc. The gardens are amazing with many varieties of garden gnomes, however what was fantastic was the many animals that roam the huge grounds, which are protected from evil spirits by a long green & gold multi-headed serpent! It is also free entry and a great place to relax under a shady tree from the heat of the Bangkok sun. See more..
