Islands
I first date in Thailand. Is an island that is named Ko Kao I don't know how to spell correctly. But what I know is that it is one of the most beautiful places that I shouldn't miss in Tripadvisor reviews. My girlfriend is very pleased to be traveling with me. Then a surprise happened to the monkey. It's very naughty and likes to play with water. Some are inside the forest, in the trees. It comes to play with us. My heart was scared But one heart, I want to feed the monkeys. Of course, I let them eat coconut meat. And then they all came in a crowd. It scares me and my girlfriend. But we try to walk out because they have to follow again. After that I went to walk somewhere else away from them. The monkey will ask for food again. It's a very fun experience and the view is beautiful. Thank you very much. See more..

-Sea turtles in naval base.
Nature & Wildlife Areas
This place is in the military zone, so your position will be vanished from Google map ! After the verification process (passport (for foreigner) or id card (for Thai) is needed), ones may ask the way from the officer. The place has no entrance fee. The first zone we entered was the museum that provides some informations about sea turtles in Thailand. The next zone is a large open tank with glass wall where you can see huge sea turtles swimming around and poking up their heads above the water to breath loudly. The final zone contains many open tanks with baby sea turtles of several breeds. We were told that after a couple of years of parenting (to ensure that they are strong enough), they will be released back into the sea. This place also has a souvenir shop, cafe and restaurant with nice view of sea, beach, cargo ships and battleship. See more..

- 4.0 Plutaluang Royal Navy Golf Course (36 reviews)
-Golf in a natural setting
Golf Courses
We have played Plutaluang multiple times over the past years. It has become our "home" course for several reasons. The green fees remain on the lower end for Pattaya area courses. The course offers 36 holes and one can mix and match. The layout is natural, as a golf course should be, not manicured & pedicured. Over the years course maintenance has progressively improved - fairways, bunkers, greens are all in decent shape. As befits a navy course there is an abundance of water and the hazards make many holes a challenge forcing lay ups and conundrums re club selection. The electric carts are in best condition of any nearby course. (On a few courses the carts are suspect, even dangerous). I would like to hire my regular Plutaluang caddie to accompany me when I play other venues. She is reliable, knowledgeable and superb at reading greens. It ain't an easy course. It is not a country club but it offers an enjoyable outing and a venue that is in the true tradition of the game...... See more..

- 3.5 Upside Down Pattaya (76 reviews) from $11.08
-Small Theme park
Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Amusement & Theme Parks
Biggest draw of this place is the upside down house. It's fun, and small to explore. There is a hidden fee to do they gyro and to ride the backwards bikes, which is a bit of a bummer. The twisty castle isn't much to be explored, but there are some items which are entertaining. You'll spend less than an hour here if it's not too crowded. I forget the price, but again, main and pretty much only draw is the upside down house. I think Phuket has a more involved attraction, again price is unknown. See more..

- 3.5 Rangsri Soon Thorn Temple (2 reviews)
-Right on the Highway
Spent < 1 hour Religious Sites
If you are travelling on Sukhumvit Road between Rayong and Sattahip, Wat Rangsri Soon Thorn is impossible to miss. There, right on the roadside about five kilometers from Sattahip, is a fat golden Chinese-style Buddha, about 20 meters tall. Inside the temple there is another even large Buddha, this one reclining, and is about 60 meters long. The temple itself does not appear to be of antiquity, but it is classically built, colourful, and worthy of a quick stop if you are driving past. See more..
