   When I was there, last week in mid April, it was not busy at all. No queue. The cable car therefore runs presumably less often, but I'm not sure. The price I found quite high; 80 LEI (16 euros) for a one-way trip, 150 LEI for a return. There were about 7 people in the cabin on my way up. It's an old cable car, but still runs smoothly. The views from a certain height, after passing through some clouds, were amazing. What a landscape: everything still covered in a lot of snow and once above the clouds, the sun is so enormously bright you cannot see proper than through a good pair of sun glasses. An amazing world of mountains, snow and sun awaits you. It is totally worth the price, I would highly recommend doing this. Only downside is, of course, that you cannot keep 1,5 m distance during COVID times. See more..

   Visited the place during the Summerwell festival and I enjoyed it. Domeniul Stirbey is, basically, a large park by a pond, with a castle like mansion built in XIX century and a chapel. The park, prepared to entertain the festival goers, was kind of magic, with lots of romantic lights, long chairs, an open air cinema, food vans, coffee trucks, hammocks here and there and even a fake moon balloon. There was even a water installation on the pond. However, I have no idea how the garden, the pond, the castle and the chapel look like when the festival is over, most probably not so exciting and definitely quieter. Summerwell is an Indie-rock music festival held every year in August. The location seems to be a great spot for private events. As a conclusion, I wouldn't recommend you to visit the location, unless you're invited to a private event. See more..

   The Lower Danube Museum (Muzeul Dunarii de Jos) is the most important museum in the city, that have 3 sections: one about the history of the area, located at 4 Progresului Street, one of archeology and one of etnography. For everyone there is a separate fee of less than 1 Euro. There is a guide for every part of the museum and there are quite nice exhibits, like an ancient Roman tomb.     Super endroit, un peu kitsch, mais toujours une copie de la tour Eiffel. Assez bien conservé. Vous pouvez atteindre la clôture qui l'entoure.
    Il est situé dans le complexe Hermès, qui semble désert, juste à côté de Slobozia.
