The babele was a great aventura. I recommend everybody have the mountains equipamment because the weather changes quickly in one hour you can have “3 season “. The gondola was a little bit “old” and the price was 170 RON for up and down See more..

It's a nice cave to visit if you are around this place. To the cave it's also an amazing road where you can take really nice photos. They don't have public toilet there and no restaurants to eat, but the cave it's not so far from the city. Also the cave it's really nice and accesible to visit without a guide See more..

    - Amazing view

Not the castles, but the hike ending with this view is the highlight of Sinaia. The walk up there (1-1,5 hours in snow when nature starts with the blue line) is very beautiful with great nature. The view point itself is very stunning. The view is amazing seeing the higher Bucegi mountains and Sinaia town. I was there all by myself and on the walk I saw 3 people so it is very private and remote. It is a must-do in Sinaia. See more..

The Sohodol Canyon (Cheile Sohodolului) is something like 20 kilometers from Targu Jiu city and it is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Gorj county. Great landscape, some nice little caves and a lot of photo oportunities. Also in a small cave it is arranged an orthodox altar. You can visit this place by climbing a few stairs. Another attraction of the Canyon is the "stone ring", a round hole in the mountain rock. It is a place of legend and favored by the locals to take engagement or wedding pictures. If you decide to climb the cliffs beware where you put your foot or hand because you can get into a horn viper, the most venomous snakes in Romania. The Sohodol Canyon is also appreciated by a lot of Romanian movie lovers. Here were filmed some well-known scenes from the Romanian adventure movie "The Yellow Rose" (Trandafirul Galben), from 1982.
