    The Bucegi Plateau is accessible either by cable car from Busteni (which can be extremely busy sometimes and quite expensive) or by car from Sinaia through the spectacular DJ713 road, named Transbucegi, close to Piatra Arsa Chalet). Either the way you choose to climb at the altitude of 2216 meters, the plateau offers extraordinary views and thing to see, including the Sphinx and the Babele and the Caraiman Cross. It's a must for everyone to wear proper shoes and clothes as the soil can become dangerous, no matter the season.
