Conacul acesta a fost o adevarata surpriza. Nu ne asteptam sa fie atat de frumos si sa ascunda asemena comori in interior: colectiile de arta ale lui Alexandru Bellu, mobila originala, carti valoroase. Ghidul este foare profesionist si pasionat si ne-a introdus in atmosfera epocii, oferindu-ne informatii interesante. Merita cu siguranta drumul de o ora cu masina din Bucuresti. This is a true hidden gem. The building architecture is beautiful and inside you will find a great collection of art, paintings and original furniture. The guide was very professional and introduced us to the history of the mansion and the lifestyle of Alexandru Bellu. It’s just one hour drive from Bucharest and it is totally worth the time. A fantastic little museum of local artisanal crafts, clothing and artwork. We were given a personal tour by a volunteer who was brought in ad hoc as he spoke English. The building is exceptionally beautiful, and it’s exhibits were very interesting. I’d recommend anyone who visits Campulung Muscel to visit this fantastic museum. See more..
