The Summerwell festival location
Visited the place during the Summerwell festival and I enjoyed it. Domeniul Stirbey is, basically, a large park by a pond, with a castle like mansion built in XIX century and a chapel. The park, prepared to entertain the festival goers, was kind of magic, with lots of romantic lights, long chairs, an open air cinema, food vans, coffee trucks, hammocks here and there and even a fake moon balloon. There was even a water installation on the pond. However, I have no idea how the garden, the pond, the castle and the chapel look like when the festival is over, most probably not so exciting and definitely quieter. Summerwell is an Indie-rock music festival held every year in August. The location seems to be a great spot for private events. As a conclusion, I wouldn't recommend you to visit the location, unless you're invited to a private event.

Great restaurant
Great restaurant in a classic Romanian chateau, owned by one the oldest aristocratic families Classic Romanian food and lots of it

Quiet and wild
You can only visit it for free Friday, during the weekend you have to pay 50 lei per person, that will grant you a voucher to the Stirbey restaurant located inside the small palace.You cannot visit it from Monday to Thursday. There is a small lake with a wooden bridge, a very interesting looking Chapel and a water tower to visit. What we didn't like was the area behind the restaurant towards the lake (seemed abandoned, even some glass windows left there, watch out after your kids), and lots of wedding pavilions that sprang through the forest area. This is more of a small forest than a park.
