Yes - the cathedral is amazing. The doors are open and you can wander in and see this amazing "temple". And the Parque (better described as a plaza or square) in front of the temple is fabulous. Not sure how many nights a week, but definitely on Sunday nights the square and the surrounding streets are full of street vendors, street food, music, dancing and families enjoying the festivities. There is a restaurant overlooking the square (Tertulia) that has wonderful food and a great view of the cathedral and all the activities in the square. We enjoyed it very much.See more..

My wife and I spent a week on Mismaloya Beach and went with Ulises on a sunset cruise, cliff jumping, and bioluminescence night snorkeling around Los Arcos on our last night there. He is a fantastic person and wonderful guide. We loved every minute of our time with him and his friends. I would recommend that everyone use Jack Sparrow PV if you are at Mismaloya beach.See more..
If you want to experience something spectacular, and enjoy 4 star hotels and great food while doing it, then I highly recommend the Copper Canyon tour with Experience Mex-Eco tours! We did it in January 2022. They planned the itinerary down to every detail. The tour requires a considerable amount of travel by bus, airplane, and train, but Mexico is a big country, and Pancho, our tour guide who accompanied our group of 18 people gave knowledgable insight into the changing geography as we traveled through. The train ride aboard the Chepe Express conjured up childhood memories of a model railroad diorama as it winds through canyons, over trestles and through switchbacks and tunnels…and the experience is unforgettable. When you finally reach the Mirador hotel, the pace slows down. The temperature outside was freezing, (we are above 7,000 feet altitude, and it is January) but the fireplace in the dining/sitting room was inviting and warm. And the vista…you have to see it to believe it. What I have described is only a fraction of the unforgettable experience we enjoyed. We highly recommend taking this tour with Mex-Eco Tours. We certainly will again!See more..
Friends and I went on the seafood feast excursion and had a fantastic full day of beauty, adventure, incredible food and pure bliss! Fernando and his friend Franco were helpful, attentive, fun and professional. We first went snorkeling, Fernando having picked the best location considering conditions and providing excellent equipment. It was perfect. Then he took us to the most gorgeous pristine beach, always making sure we got off and on the boat safely. Then off to Chimo for a cool canoe ride to the beach and a most delicious huge meal, including cold beers. Beers and water were also offered on the boat. Actually this was my 3rd time going on this trip with Miramar and I’m sure I will go again!See more..

I really enjoyed this kayaking tour with Guillermo. From the start, he made sure the conditions would be okay for a pleasant trip. As a guide, he is very knowledgeable about the birds, different towns, and important information/history about the lake. He can answer questions you have as a long time resident. Guillermo will go at your pace and brings snacks/water. He is a very chill, and fun to talk to. I should add very professional too. This is the best kayak tour I've been on. Thank you for a nice tour! Definitely try this out!See more..
5.0Mirado La Bufa(87 reviews) - Super fun Spent 2-3 hours Mountains • Lookouts
I rented an ATV in San Sébastien del Oeste with a tour guide and he led us up the mountain on a crazy dirt road..there were cars and trucks on road too..but it was crazy bumpy especially as we neared the top. A short hike after we parked led to a perfect spectacular view of the Sierra Madre Occidentals!See more..
5.0Garcia Fishing Charters(78 reviews) - Awesome guides, great people, and the best ceviche! Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Fishing Charters & Tours
My sons and I fished with Luis and his first mate Jonathan and had an awesome day. Luis's boat is great, well equipped and he and Jonathan have deep knowledge of the area. We caught lots of fish including Jack Trevaly, Bonito, Red Snapper, Spanish Mackeral and more. On top of all that they made the best ceviche on the way home which was its own carnival trick of sorts: Jonathon fillets better than anyone I have ever seen and makes ceviche on a moving boat - waves and swells - which was amazing. Great people, great fishing guides - I could not recommend them more highly.See more..
Snorkeling with Mismaloya Adventures was the BEST part of our trip to Puerto Vallarta! Our family of four were the only people on the tour, and we took a short boat ride from the beach out to the arches. Our guide actually jumped into the water with us and led us to the exact right locations to see hundreds of colorful fish, puffer fish, an eel, and so much more. While the people on the giant tour boats of 40+ passengers were bobbing away aimlessly with the tide, our guide instructed us on how to maneuver such that we didn’t get slammed into rocks or swept away from the fish. Super honest and incredible prices- the price for the four of us was less than the cost for one person on a large boat snorkel tour. We would 100% book with Mismaloya Adventures anytime we travel to PV.See more..
5.0Posters International(57 reviews) - Incredible Find in PV Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Art Galleries

5.0Nevado de Colima Tours(47 reviews) - What a great guide!! Gerardo went out of his way to help me. Sightseeing Tours
This was an amazing trip. My top priority on my visit was to hike Nevado de Colima but ran in to issues with transportation. Gerardo helped me through that. The tour company recommended the hotel Reforma. Very inexpensive but the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. They were very helpful at the front desk also. Gerardo was an outstanding guide!!! Picked me up at the hotel for the 1 1/2 hr drive. The hike was great. It was on Feb 13th. I feel that the temp may have been in the 30s at some points but warmed up. Luckily it was a pretty clear day so we had amazing views of Fuego Volcan. Gerardo packed a great lunch. Only saw a few people coming up as we were coming down. He brought me back into town and waited until my taxi showed up. I can't recommend him and Nevado de Colima Tours. They were absolutely wonderful and I truly enjoyed our conversations and hike with Gerardo. Thank you so very much for making wish come true of doing my first 14er. TiffanySee more..

We chartered a private snorkel tour with Sergio and team and were extremely impressed. We got to see several top dive spots in the area and received excellent photos/videos included in the price. When you factor this in, the price is not that much more than most of the big group tours so we were very happy about that. Sergio and the crew are all very proud to show & tell you about the sites, architecture in the area, and histories of towns that dot the south banderas bay in puerto vallarta. They are professional and very friendly and made us feel safe and in great hands. They dock out of Mismaloya and everyone in town knows who they are so they were easy to find. I highly recommend this group to anyone staying at #garzablanca or anywhere on the southern side of #puertovallartaSee more..
