    I went for Easter for a long paragliding and beach weekend and was surprised there were no other fliers except really friendly local guys who showed me the ropes. After a 30 min walk up, great beach flying, some soaring or termals with a bit of luck and an amazing landing on the beach, with a cool cerveza and some fish tacos waiting for you.     I’m a bit scared of heights so I was nervous about paragliding. The mezcal hangover didn’t help my nerves either haha. However, the Local Adventures team made me feel comfortable and explained thoroughly the safety precautions and what to expect. Take off was scary, you run straight off the edge of a mountain. Once you are soaring through the air it becomes very peaceful. Would highly recommend this activity and the Local Adventures guides to anyone looking for an adrenaline rush in the Guadalajara area.
