If you want to experience something spectacular, and enjoy 4 star hotels and great food while doing it, then I highly recommend the Copper Canyon tour with Experience Mex-Eco tours! We did it in January 2022. They planned the itinerary down to every detail. The tour requires a considerable amount of travel by bus, airplane, and train, but Mexico is a big country, and Pancho, our tour guide who accompanied our group of 18 people gave knowledgable insight into the changing geography as we traveled through. The train ride aboard the Chepe Express conjured up childhood memories of a model railroad diorama as it winds through canyons, over trestles and through switchbacks and tunnels…and the experience is unforgettable. When you finally reach the Mirador hotel, the pace slows down. The temperature outside was freezing, (we are above 7,000 feet altitude, and it is January) but the fireplace in the dining/sitting room was inviting and warm. And the vista…you have to see it to believe it. What I have described is only a fraction of the unforgettable experience we enjoyed. We highly recommend taking this tour with Mex-Eco Tours. Friends and I went on the seafood feast excursion and had a fantastic full day of beauty, adventure, incredible food and pure bliss! Fernando and his friend Franco were helpful, attentive, fun and professional. We first went snorkeling, Fernando having picked the best location considering conditions and providing excellent equipment. It was perfect. Then he took us to the most gorgeous pristine beach, always making sure we got off and on the boat safely. Then off to Chimo for a cool canoe ride to the beach and a most delicious huge meal, including cold beers. Beers and water were also offered on the boat. Our first time in Puerto Vallarta and one of the hi lites was our trip to Yelapa hiking to the beautiful waterfall. The snorkeling was amazing and the employees on the boat were so very kind, helpful and accommodating. The visit to the beach area was hi lighted by our little local visitor. This was an amazing trip. My top priority on my visit was to hike Nevado de Colima but ran in to issues with transportation. Gerardo helped me through that. The tour company recommended the hotel Reforma. Very inexpensive but the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. They were very helpful at the front desk also. Gerardo was an outstanding guide!!! Picked me up at the hotel for the 1 1/2 hr drive. The hike was great. It was on Feb 13th. I feel that the temp may have been in the 30s at some points but warmed up. Luckily it was a pretty clear day so we had amazing views of Fuego Volcan. Gerardo packed a great lunch. Only saw a few people coming up as we were coming down. He brought me back into town and waited until my taxi showed up. I can't recommend him and Nevado de Colima Tours. They were absolutely wonderful and I truly enjoyed our conversations and hike with Gerardo. Thank you so very much for making wish come true of doing my first 14er. TiffanySee more..

It was our first ever trip to Puerto Vallarta and we wanted to take a couple of day trips. We booked the tour through the tour office at our hotel. Gustavo was our tour guide who arrived promptly at the Senor Frogs parking lot. The small van is very "distinctive" to say the least and was clean and cool. There was a total of 8 guests on the tour. Other reviewers have laid out the itinerary so I won't duplicate other than to say it was a full, interesting and satisfying tour, well worth the time and the money. The lunch that was provided was the best authentic Mexican food we had over our two week vacation. The guacamole was the very best I have very had. Our guide, Gustavo was excellent and very personable. His knowledge was second to none and he was entertaining and funny (and a good driver!!!). Highly recommend this tour and we would do it again it was so educational and enjoyable. And the very personal tour and interaction with Gustavo made it over the top.See more..
Well worth the day long trip during a week-long visit to Puerto Vallarta. Food, hacienda, staff, guide - all excellent, adding to the uniqueness of this attraction. All the folks take pride in this lovely oasis away from the hustle and bustle of PV. Both breakfast and lunch served! Horseback riding to and from river calming. Warning: take bug spray and USE it aggressively! The no-see-ums are vicious, and the bite marks and itchiness will come out when you get back to PV! Otherwise, lovely day.See more..
Motos Tapalpa me parecen una opción excelente para divertirse en Tapalpa. Puedes rentar cuatrimotos para una o dos personas con el plus de que los recorridos los haces por ti mismo. También puedes pedir que te organicen un tour guiado, con la posibilidad de conocer lugares que no podrías conocer si no vas con un guía.
