4.5Parroquia Santiago Apostol(116 reviews) - Lovely historic church and UNESCO site. Spent < 1 hour Historic Sites • Points of Interest & Landmarks • Religious Sites • Churches & Cathedrals
We visited this 1649 Parish church and the plaza area, a focal point of this small town’s designation as a UNESCO site. The single nave interior is beautiful with the blue and yellow accents and the colors of the multi wood parquet floors. It’s a quiet haven in an otherwise congested town overflowing with tourists. Parking was not a problem just 4 blocks from the church or follow one of the many men holding the ‘E’ signs for closer pay parking.See more..
4.0Antiguos Lavaderos(94 reviews) - Good historic site Spent < 1 hour Historic Sites • Points of Interest & Landmarks
Stopped here on on tour of the nearby distilleries. Interesting history. Amazing that the water runs non-stop from the volcano to here. Fun to see how clothes were washed in the past. See more..
If you want to come here specifically to visit the church's ruins, do so. If you want to ruin the beauty of natural ruinous beauty (like HumbertoM), then stay far, far away; and never venture into the mountains of Jalisco. If you come with a rotten materialist heart, you will be cursed for all eternity. Don't bring your romantic partners here, don't bring your horrible Hollywood sets here. Come as a person who appreciates Beauty and all that Beauty has to offer the human spirit and imagination. Thank you.See more..
4.5Puente de Calderon(16 reviews) - A great day out for family and friends. Historic Sites
Brilliant place to take the family, suitable for children of all ages. Free day out, bring some food to cook on the BBQ. Kids have a ball playing at the playgrounds, beautiful location that's worth visiting.See more..
Beautiful church, simple but exquisite neoclassical design. It's a big building for such a small town, you can see it from almost every corner of the city. If you visit Autlan, a visit to this Cathedral is a must. There was still some construction going on on the exterior, which didn't affect visitors from going into the Cathedral.See more..
Highly recommend Jose Cuervo VIP express. The attention from the staff is superb and the overall experience is lots of funSee more..
