We took a 5 day bus tour with Flip Flop Tours to Michoacan State in Mexico and visited the amazing event of the annual Monarch Butterfly migration from Canada/USA to Mexico at the El Rosario Butterfly Reserve. We also visited Santa Clara Capula, the birthplace of the Mexican clay Catrina; Santa Clara and watched a live copper demonstration; next was the archaeological site at "Yácatas of Tzintzuntzan"; Pátzcuaro & Tlaquepaque. Our tour coordinator Dan was absolutely amazing! Dan speaks fluent English & Spanish. He never stopped pointing out interesting facts along our trip, had tips and tricks for every stop before we arrived and went above and beyond to look out for everyone.See more..

Four of us, all experienced riders, went on a 3 hour ride with Chavez. What a wonderful experience. We ride through jungle, rivers and the town to the Predator movie set at elEden, where we had a nice break at the restaurant. The horses were all in good shape and well cared for. Chavez figures out we knew what we were doing pretty quickly so we had some nice trots & canters. Go in the morning as it gets really hot & dusty later in the day.See more..

Such Great service that we went twice! Capt chava Is fluent in English and Spanish, he was Very friendly, fair and very knowledgeable about the area. The first trip was a tour around the Arcos - he made a great impression and We enjoyed ourselves so much we scheduled a fishing trip 2 days later with capt chava. He ensured myself and my boyfriend had a Great time, by fishing for my boyfriend and stopping by Yelapa beach for me! He even made fresh ceviche from the fish we caught right there on the boat, best service we had while in puerta vallarta, I Highly recommend capt chava to show you the Bay, its beaches and just have an overall great day appreciating the beauty of the bay!See more..

Anna was so accommodating and easy to communicate with. She is an American living in Mexico and knows all the tips and tricks. We told her what we wanted from our day- avoiding crowds, snorkeling, discovering chill beaches, getting off the beaten track. She took us all around, chose a great beach restaurant for lunch (Charlie’s on Quimixto) and let us relax and explore at our own pace. She had great recommendations and advice. When we first approached the facility, we were met by Jorge, from the first interaction we knew this would be a magnificent experience! Jorge was laid back and most informative and you felt like you were at home, he was informative and joking at the same time, we reserved a spot for the next morning. Then we met Ozzy, a young and very knowledgeable leader under Jorge’s direction. He was awesome and made sure everyone knew all safety precautions. He was the same as Jorge, serious with his position but made us laugh and feel at home. Then we had the “Mexican Paparazzi”, Alex, we never saw him pass us, but he was at every turn and photo opportunity there was! We traveled by van to San Sebastian of the West with PV Transfer. This historic village thrives with artisans making jewelry, blankets, coffee, baked goods, liquor, candy, and tasty meals. We had tour guides who were exceptional and blended history lessons with many stories about life today in the Sierra Madres. The 400+ year old church is stunning. We were lucky to have Abraham Gomez, the owner of PV Transfer, with us as well as our tour guide Mario. Both kept us comfortable during the day trip, engaged with what we were seeing, and answering our questions as quickly as the four of us threw them out.
