Even though the activities are not that cheap (ATVs 21 dlls an hour, walk through the suspension bridge 7 dlls, 1 mile zipline 21 dlls, etc.) the park is really nice, if you don’t want to do any of the activities the park offers, the entrance to the park (0.5 dlls) includes a beautiful waterfall and marvelous landscapes. We had the opportunity to do a 1 hour tour in the ATVs for $21 dlls and it was amazing we went from the bottom of the mountain and so as to the top, in the top we had the opportunity to take some pics in a viewpoint. Worst experience in my life!!! They charged me $400 peso for no tour and then I got left at Mundo Aventura and then I had to pay for a taxi which cost $300 peso after waiting 1 1/2 hours playing tag with no cell phone reception. They promised a tour! And no the tour girl left. What a disappointment. Did you know you it only cost $20 peso to get into the park and the bridge is $150. They where the worst! Growing up my family would take us there to enjoy the day with our friends going up and down the water slides, I went back last week and I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements they have made, the cleanliness and the diversity of things to do. Decided to take the public "libre" highway to the airport instead of the toll road. Best choice I made. I passed through Calderon Bridge as a child, to see the statue of Calderon. This place has been turned into a park with picnic benches and a playground for the little ones. Very nice. There are hiking trails as well. Arrived for a pitt stop, just to stretch my legs. I went with friends, driving from Colima. It is easy to arrive in the Nacional Park following the google maps. Once you arrive there, there is no good instruction where is the best view, where do you really need park the car, where starts the way for treking and the small village with toillets and where I supposed there was some instructions it was closed. We felt lost into a big park. It´s really only for adventures. To arrive there the car needs to be big, preferencially 4x4. See more..

El lugar cuenta con zona de camping y unas pequeñas chozas para colocar tu casa de campaña adentro y no mojarte si llueve, tambien hay tirolesas, asadores y un muy bonito jardin con plantas medicinales. Definitivamente el mejor lugar para salir de la rutina.

On our first visit to Puerto Vallarta and Jalisco, Mexico, my wife and I took a full day tour up to San Sebastian del Oeste. The ride up to San Sebastian was long and adventurous. Upon arrival we were given some "free time" by our tour guide after lunch to check out the town. The Plaza Publica or the main square was full of people as the day we visited it was September 16, Mexico's Independence Day. People were everywhere enjoying food, music, drink and of course just a great place to celebrate. There were also lots of off road bikers who were back from the mountain trails relaxing enjoying lunch and some rest. Probably 150 or more motorcycles were all around the Plaza along with other assorted off road ATV's... It was fun experiencing a true Mexican tradition in a real old traditional Mexican town...
