A must see
Just quite a surprise for us. We've walked past this treasure many times not realizing the extensive amount of art. The variety was impressive and the displays and beautiful garden like setting were breathtaking! For example, you really have to pause to notice all of the effort put into the presentations. One area we noticed had works of art around a bathtub. I'm guessing this was a lovely home at one point, but don't quote me! Makes me want to investigate more. You really have to go more than once to absorb it all , and then some. We've been twice so far. The second time we had wine and tapas at the second floor bar/ restaurant. The flooring is beautiful and coordinates with the gorgeous curved bar. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon !

Great gallery in a beautiful courtyard setting
Galleria Dante is a large gallery, with enough space to showcase the artists who it represents. It does a good job of selecting a mix of interesting artists - mostly painters but also some sculptors - and displaying their work in a lovely setting. There's a cafe/restaurant on the 2nd floor and good washrooms. Worth a visit if you are in downtown Puerto Vallarta.
