    - Wonderful relaxing treatment
    Spas
    Aegeo Spas image
I visited the Aegeo Spa in the Platanista Hotel, Kos. I booked a relaxing massage with locally sourced lavender oil. It was an easy and friendly welcome process when booking and they gave a 20% discount and a complimentary 15 minutes extra treatment as I had booked over 45 minutes. When I arrived for the treatment my therapist, Mirela, met me. She had an air of calm and was just so friendly and welcoming. She set up the treatment room to feel calm and relaxing, and I started to feel chilled out before the treatment even started. The massage was relaxing and the oils felt and smelled divine. Mirela concentrated on areas of stress and was just so sweet and polite throughout. For the complimentary 15 minutes, she gave me a mini facial. The products felt great. I would definitely recommend this spa. Thank you Mirela. See more..

    - Much more beautiful and preservered than we initially expected!
Spent 2-3 hours Marinas • Points of Interest & Landmarks
    Old Venetian Harbor image
While European coastal cities really to to overcommercialize and scare away tourists with overwhelming amounts of cheap beachwear, fake Irish pubs and restaurant waiters trying to lure you in by constantly chatting you up (any time of the day), there are beautiful spots that manage to preserve their original shape and splendour while still incoporating modern elements. In Chania both seems to be the case. While tourism and accompanying tourist traps are never far away here, the old Venetian harbor managed to preserve the aesthetics of the past. One can take great sunset walks here and while our visit in 2020 was strongly influenced by the pandemic and subsequent diminishing numbers of visitors, did we really feel the local identity and culture of the people of Chania. Don't skip the city for bigger Heraklion or the beaches - make sure to indulge in this beautiful harbor that the Venetians have set their eyes on centuries ago. See more..

The best djs ever i believe it could satisfied all types of music taste, amazing vibes , with all the “good vibes “ hats and signs all over the place ,really organize and good approach of the staff, not rude at all. BUT there should be more bins, because after the party started is really dirty. Also really expensive for something so dirty, 30€ just entrance and 40€ sunbeds. Drinks are good price tho, although menu was quite expensive and it was just fast food and salad. And only cash to buy the entrance , not a problem but just to remember See more..

You get great views of the ocean and the harbor and can imagine it back in more ancient times. You can climb the lighthouse steps but there is no access open into the lighthouse. The walls are almost 9metres thick at some parts, and the castle has three entrances. 26 rooms were originally used as barracks, a prison, storage rooms, a water reservoir, a church, a mill and a bakery. - Amazing place
    Beaches
    Seitan Limania Beach image
This picture-perfect beach is a must-see in northwestern Crete, known for its clear waters and the rocky landscapes that surround it. Here, you can relax by the shore and take in the scenic views, swim in the turquoise waters, canyon down the cliffs, or even sail the area on a boat tour to discover other gorgeous beaches. The beach gets busy during summer—reach early to snag a parking spot by the church of Agios Spyridon before hiking down to the beach. The path down is a bit steep, slippery and rocky, so wear a comfortable pair of shoes. – Tripadvisor See more..
  27. 4.5 Agios Nikolaos Chapel (1.036 reviews)
    - Worth the drive...

    Agios Nikolaos Chapel image
A 25 min drive from Almyrida where we were staying having hired a car for a couple of days. A hilly drive with stunning views before arriving at a busier than expected village with plenty of restaurants. A rocky walk takes you to the chapel so would recommend trainers rather than flip flops or bare feet which some visitors chose! See more..

    - Gorgeous beach (+ Mojitos!)
    Beaches
Red Sand Beach (Kokkini Ammos) image
It is a 45 minute hike over a hill from Matala to get here, but it is totally worth it! There is little to no shade, although you can rent out some old umbrellas if you get there early enough. There is also no food or water so bring your own. There is however, Yannis and his legendary Mojitos, but be warned they are strong! The red sand is gorgeous, as is the clear warm water. The Sunset’s are also fantastic! If you want to take all your clothes off you can do that too! See more..

    Maritime Museum of Crete image
The Maritime Museum of Crete is located right at the port of Chania, and is only open on weekdays. On two floors it presents a rich exhibition of Cretan maritime history. Unfortunately, not everything is bilingual. My personal highlight is the conversation with a member of the (currently three-strong) modeling team, who build almost all of the models on display here from wood, cardboard and wire. The average construction time is two years. Value for money: five stars Usability: Four stars Museum pedagogy: Three stars Recommended duration of visit: One to two hours Fun Factor: Five Stars See more..
