There’s myths about the lake and recently, it’s been the subject of Red Bull’s base-diving competition. It’s scenic and worth the climb up a xig-zag staircase. Cafe George is right at the top, but there’s dozens of eateries surrounding the lake. Take a decent camera!!

    History of lake is super interesting. Nice attraction
    The lakes history is very interesting and worth researching. Can walk around the lake - doesn’t take long and up the steps. The cafes round the lake are nice to sit at if you are happy to pay tourist prices. We enjoyed our time here.

    lovely stroll around this unusual body of water
    the lake is somewhat polluted with plastic bottles floating around, butu once you get past that, it really is quite charming. Walking around it, you see quite a lot of fisk, some old religious strauctures, locals fishing, cats. SOm enice restaurants surround the lake, although the people of those restaurants seemed to be a bit more pushy in getting you in their establishment than elsewhere.
