Had the absolute pleasure of going out on a charter with Darren and his amazing skipper, Porter. Myself and 3 friends did a half day adventure...clammin, mackerel fishing & learning about lobster and crab trapping. Darren cooked up the fish and clams right on the boat!...a fabulous lunch and rewarding to eat what we caught. We also got to see seals in their natural habitat...another highlight of the day. If there's one adventure you must do while visiting the island of PEI, it definetely has to be Paradise on the Sea Adventures in Souris...a day to remember for sure! See more..

    Kayaking & Canoeing
    By The Sea Kayaking image
My husband, two children (7 and 12) and I partook in this sea kayaking and clamming adventure. This was one of my favourite things we did on our whole trip. The guide was great, very knowledgable, and the clamming was so much fun!! We found a lot of clams, I think the guide was impressed that people from the prairies were so good at clamming! The bonus was the delicious clam chowder that he made when we returned to the beach! See more..

Did the dirt shirt bike tour and beach boil. If you want a truly authentic island experience, you’ll want to make sure you visit Red Rock! Nathan and Annie are exceptional hosts who ensure their patrons’ comfort while entertaining with stories and history about the area. The dirt shirts look great, just be prepared to get dirty (feels like that almost doesn’t need to be said). The food on the beach was outstanding and plentiful. The staff clearly work hard ‘behind the scenes’ allowing us to sit and enjoy the beautiful location. Even the bald eagles performed on cue, breathtaking. Definitely a must do on the east side of the island and something we’ll be back for! See more..

I was introduced to Peter and his wife Gayle during my first trip to Georgetown, nearly 3 years ago. I went in for the jewelry and left with new friends. When I returned this year, Peter yelled out my name and gave me the biggest hug. I ended up spending a couple mornings at the shop - both purchasing a couple new pieces and learning to make my own. Peter’s jewelry is beautiful and his friendship and mustache are priceless. Make sure to add a trip to Shoreline Design to your itinerary! See more..

    - Great Morning on the Water!

    Wicked Sea Adventures image
From the visit to the website, to the call back from Gerrard, to the boat experience, this exceeded our expectations. The customer service on the phone was great and the booking was easy. On arrival at the boat Gerrard and Riley were great. Upon getting on the boat was the safety briefing, pretty generic stuff, don't be fooled by this line, "now we are lobster fisherman, not tour guides, we do this after lobster season". They are phenomenal tour guides, it's their character that made it for our family, they were so easy to talk to. We will do this tour again next summer. See more..

An excellent Deep Sea Fishing business at reasonable cost oriented towards families. Marvin and his daughter JoLynn went out of their way to make sure everybody had a great time including the kids. They would set the hook with a fish on and hand the rod to the little kid to reel it in. Marvin knows his stuff and took us out to areas where there were lots of mackerel and cod to catch. The boat is newer and well maintained and fishing gear is simple and of good quality. Overall, an excellent morning spent on the water. Highly recommended. See more..

We are so glad to have found East Coast Paddle Adventures! Matt and Krista are super friendly and really go out of their way to ensure we have fun each time we visit. So far this summer, we’ve rented kayaks to explore the Souris river as a family, paddle boards to explore beautiful Basin Head and just tonight we rented bikes and did the scavenger hunt around Souris! Despite having visited the region many times over the years, the scavenger hunt led us to discover many hidden treasures that we hadn’t previously experienced. Such a great way to see the town! All the equipment is like new, and Matt and Krista provide everything you need to hit the water or the road. They provide instruction and even take a few snapshots so you have a keepsake to remember your adventure. If you’re looking to get out and explore the beauty of Eastern PEI , you can’t beat East Coast Paddle Adventures! See more..

My family and I have done quite a few excursion trips but this was definitely one of the very best. Carl and his team took us out for the best fishing trip of our lives. Our kids had a blast... my 8 year old son alone caught 18 mackerel and 1 cod. On top of that, the rest of us couldn’t keep count of all the fish we caught, it was just so fun! Watching the gannets and gulls dive for fish all around us was such a treat. The crew was absolutely incredible and even filleted some fish for us to take home and feast on. I highly recommend the Bearded Skipper’s Deep Sea Fishing to anyone looking for an excellent time! See more..

    Orwell Corner Historic Village image
What an amazing experience! This village is underrated. We booked an experience called “new farm life.” We spent nearly two hours milking goats, bottle feeding sheep, grooming a horse and then taking a beautiful carriage ride. Kevin was the most amazing host ever and so knowledgeable and friendly. We can’t thank him enough! Visited the school with explanations by Felix about life in the late 1800s. Ended with a morning tea and great service by Jessica. Highly recommend this as a must do for anyone visiting PEI. Rather than do the regular entrance fee, take advantage of their different experiences - highly recommend the new farm life. Not enough words to express that this was the highlight out of a PEI visit! See more..

The theatre, along with the Eptek Art & Culture Centre and the Summerside Visitor Information Centre, is housed in The Wyatt Centre, aptly named after one of the facility's major contributors, Dr. Wanda Wyatt. Harbourfront Theatre is owned by Regional Cultural Events Centre Inc., a registered non-profit organization managed by a board of directors, general manager, and director of operations, and boasts a friendly, knowledgeable, professional staff and a dedicated core of over 90 volunteers. Its mission is "to provide a continuous live entertainment service to the Prince Edward Island community and its visitors, featuring both local and touring productions, while being a significant driving force within the community to encourage and nurture the development and appreciation of the performing arts." The facility is ideally suited to a myriad of uses, including plays, concerts, opera, ballet, comedy & magic shows, conferences, seminars, receptions, business mixers, trade shows and public forums. Local theatre playhouse in the Village of Victoria by the Sea. Shows run all summer long - check out their website for listings. Very reasonable pricing. We were delighted to get tickets to Follow The Fiddler - a narrated walking tour of Victoria. This was an 'outdoor' play - we followed The Narrator, Erskine Smith, and The Fiddler through town and actors came out from behind a building; etc. and acted out a scene; told tales; sang songs. And as we walked away from each scene our narrator said; and now we'll follow the fiddler and as we walked strolled the streets lovely Cynthia MacLeod entertained us with Celtic fiddle tunes. Have never done anything quite like this. It was delightfully entertaining and one of the highlights our our Prince Edward Island trip. Perfect for all ages too! See more..

A relaxed "Kitchen Party" like atmosphere we could not get over how friendly and welcoming everyone was. A nominal admission gets you free coffee & tea, while other beverages (aka alcohol) are available for a fee. The highlight though is the music. Warm up your hands because you'll be clapping nonstop and dancing is highly encouraged. We even met the Lt. Gov of PEI the Honourable H. Frank Lewis and are told that he attends most events. The theatre looks like a wonderful place to see plays and other musical acts. The hallway of past acts is impressive indeed. Please check it out! See more..

We saw a little stream coming down the side of the grassy hill and then a long staircase down below where we could see that stream trickle into a waterfall! We explored the beach for a bit and then when we were done we went back up and noticed tiny strawberries in the field. It was one of our favorite places of our whole trip.
