Diving with the team of Diving Center Sozopol was an absolute pleasure and unforgettable experience. The entire session was handled very professionally - Antonia, Genna and Stoyan were all very friendly and patient, explaining all the details about the dive and making sure everything goes well under the water. They were very helpful during the process of getting ready, providing great and comfortable equipment. The underwater experience itself was incredible! We were able to see a lot of life under the sea, feed the fish, play with crabs, observe the beautiful jellyfish. Moreover, the package included a video record of the entire adventure, which was then edited together by Genna and made an absolutely lovely memory of the experience! hiking around Swiety Właz is not popular but it is a very interesting tourist attraction. first of all, download the map on your smartphone and find the begging of the trail. it is not difficult but the map can be misleading because there are not many new buildings located on it. Walk is pretty easy and will take you about 2 hours. At the beginning of your walk you might have one problem whether to go left or right. choose the way where the eco-pharmacy is. The walk ends by the sea, where a beautiful monastery is located. During the whole route we met only a few tourists and the views of the sea was stunning. See more..

Excellent day out. Booked online before we went cost 144 lev for 4 over 130cm, we went at 10am and left at 5.30pm, the day flew in, we had such a good time as always. I just brought my bank card with me so i didn't need to carry cash on me and used a waterproof phone case for my mobile. No food or drinks are allowed to be brought into the park. Food in the snackbar was really good and reasonably priced. The place had a relaxed chill vibe to it even though there was a party at the park. There was barely no waiting time for the slides and there was plenty of life guards about all the time. The lazy river was our fav while the kids was too busy racing eachother on the slides. There is a brilliant kids area and lifeguards are very strict about who goes into the area so no need to worry about the younger kids being pushed or splashed by older kids. I would 100% recommend this Aquapark to anyone and we will definitely be returning. See more..

This bar was reccomended by friends and it turned out to be one of the best venues of my life. We have visited twice recently, first when I took along 14 other people. When I arrived at the entrance it did not look very inviting and I thought this could be a big flop. I need not of worried, the cave like interior with running water through the restaurant and live turtles in the pools just blew everyone away. Two of the group own restaurants, one in Slovakia and the other in the Czech Republic. They want to copy the concept. I even plan to copy some aspects for my garden rebuild coming up this winter. I had the ice cream shake with orange and vodka added, heavenly combination. We returned just 3 of us, plus wife and grandson to appreciate it more fully and take some internal photos for the album. We had all the time in the world to walk around and explore the ruins of the church of St Sophia, taking our pictures and enjoying the feel of the old architecture of this magical building from the 5th century. Just as we were finished and sat down for a cup of morning coffee the busses with tourists arrived, but they didn't stay long. I'm guessing their guided tour had them scheduled for another site within just a short period of time. Our luck. We decided this year to enjoy a short holiday at the seaside despite the Pandemic that completely changed the world. We stayed in a hotel close to this beach. It is a very nice, wide beach. There are a couple of restaurants and bars on the beach -normal prices. There is an area you can sit directly on the sand, if you want - a free zone. Two sun beds and an umbrella costs 7,5 leva. There only sand when you enter into the sea. The water is shallow and very clean. Unfortunately we had 2 days with high waves, red flag and we could not swim. One of the best Bulgarian beaches. Keep in mind that it is not fully regulated (for now), so there are not many amenities. However, they have a small bistro to have a lunch, small shop for basic groceries, restroom... Also, it is clothes optional, so don't be surprised :-) The beach is gorgeous, the water crystal clear. The only unpleasant thing is the road from the main highway to the beach - it is in very bad condition, but is only 3-5 km. Pomorie Lake is a coastal lagoon separated from the sea by a natural sand spit and an additional artificial dike. The place is beautiful and the spit is good for a nice relaxing stroll which can bring you as far as the village of Aheloy. The spit is suitable for those who prefer secluded beaches but should not forget that it is not guarded. The lake is also very good for bird-watching as it is on the Via Pontica route and lots of migratory birds from the whole of Europe can be observed. The sand of the spit is black in color which is due to the healing mud extracted from the lake. The mud is unique, different from the kinds of healing mud found in other places around the world, very rich in sulfur and iron, and it heals so many diseases of the musculoskeletal system and the peripheral nervous system, skin diseases and diseases of the reproductive systems. I stumbled across the island when going though a comedic mental breakdown a few months ago and booked a trip that in my head promised to allow me the mental escape I really needed....needless to say the island and its amazing hosts did not disappoint. From start to finish, and I write this from the quaintly beautiful dockside cafe, the island has been simply perfect. Stunning panoramic at every turn, beautiful crystal clear water....bees that resemble the Hindenburg!! Haha. I stayed for two nights in a cracking little bedroom that had sea views at every angle. Nothing quite like waking up to the sun rising right in front of you over the water. I don't know what else to say...if I could I would be here permanently... but alas, london doth beckon. Go here!!! We went with my gf in July 2022. Fully in the center of the city and about 10 min from the beach. It is a very good place to chill and have a drink. Most of coktails were under 5 leva. We took 4 coktails and indeed the bill was under 20 leva. Very cheap price, I don't there is better deal here. No mention of the waitress and young person that they most likely recruited for the summer. They were both very nice, smiling, making sure we have everything and have a good moment. Also known as the "Refugee Church", it was built about 130 years ago for the Bulgarian refugees from Edirne Thrace who settled in Sozopol at that time. The church is small and simple but has beautiful murals. It cannot be missed because it is located next to Sozopol's main square at the entrance to the Old Town.
