Good starting point to visiting Nessebar - combination ticket available here

As you cross into Old Nessebar the archeological museum is easy to pass by, but it is a good starting point to get a look at artifacts that are from the area. It also has a very nice icon collection in the basement that gives an idea of what would have been in some of the church on the peninsula. Some beautiful gold jewelry as well! You can also purchase a combination ticket here to all the churches and houses that are open museums in Nessebar for a discount from paying for each entry.

    Buy the combined ticket
The best way to see the history of Nessebar is to purchase the combined ticket at the Ancient Nessebar Museum which gives access to nine of the ancient churches and museums. The interior of St Stephen’s Church will take your breath away. Equally, the Ethnographic Museum is not to be missed. The ticket lasts ten days and enables you to take in the nine different venues at your leisure. There are many wonderful restaurants towards the north of the Island.

    Nessebar beautiful old town
We had a great day in Nessebar the old town is beautiful to walk around with old cobble streets and the houses are so pretty. We got the tickets for the museum access it was 25 Bulgaria lev for adults and 12 Bulgaria lev for children this gets you access to 8 museum 6 of which are old churches. You also get access to Ethnographic museum where the man in charge told us lots of interesting facts on Nessebar and Bulgarian traditions. Well worth a visit.
