-Marvelous
Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Canyons
Fantastic, stunning views. Many perfect picture opportunities along the short hike to the top. Up there, on a good day you have a perfect 360 degree view of the canyon, the hinterland plateau and the Santa Catarina coastline. Recently the management of the park was licensed out and now it costs you R$50 to get in. New trails are about to be opened and overall improvements of the park and access road are being implemented (for now it is recommended to use a 4x4 to get there). Fantastic experience See more..

- 5.0 Vinícola Torcello (2.062 reviews)
-Very beautiful and courteous staff
Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
We were born to consolidate the work in viticulture in noble products, which to be elaborated, have the unique characteristics of Vale dos Vinhedos and technologies available to extract the best from the raw material. The choice of the name Torcello pays homage to a small Italian island near Venice. The choice of the symbol of the Winery, Leão Alado de São Marcos, was due to the fact that the Lion represents protection. In this way, the symbol refers to the protection of Leão Alado over the wines we make. Our wines, sparkling wines and juice are produced on a small scale, always seeking the quality of the labels over quantity. Come visit us. It will be an immense pleasure to receive you! See more..

The artists/booth owners were easy to work with and I was able to find nice items at a good price. I think you could find almost anything there and I would recommend stopping by. In the nice weather, on some weekends, there were food trucks in the park and that was enjoyable, especially for us as Canadians to see the familiar food truck scene. -Despite limitations (covid-19), worth the visit
Monday: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM Spent 1-2 hours Historic Sites • Wineries & Vineyards
AURORA’s story began in 1875 with the settling of Northern Italian immigrants in Brazil. Arriving in the Serra Gaucha in the south of Brazil, they found beautiful mountainous landscapes and a climate similar to that of their home country. Recalling their European culture and habits, the immigrants quickly resumed the ancient art of winemaking. On February 14, 1931, sixteen grape growing families from the city of Bento Goncalves in the Serra Gaucha joined forces to launch the groundbreaking venture that was to become the largest of its kind in Brazil: THE AURORA COOPERATIVE WINERY. Within a single year, the winery’s collective production amounted to 137,000 kg worth of grapes, laying the groundwork for a company destined to become not only the largest, but also one of the most technologically advanced wineries in Brazil. Today, the Aurora Winery lies in the heart of Bento Goncalves and is still the largest winery in Brazil. More than 1,100 families have joined the cooperative, in which production is supervised by technicians who maintain daily contact with individual families and assist them whenever necessary. The technical team, striving always to develop cutting-edge technology, is responsible for continually monitoring the industrial process as well as the quality of the winery’s final products. Aurora winery has maintained its privileged status for over two decades thanks to the company’s consistent modernisation of its production plant, the innovative technology of its units and the strict standards enforced throughout the production process. The extreme care taken during production, from planting the seedlings to bottling the product, is an essential ingredient in the recipe for the continued growth that Aurora has enjoyed throughout the years. - 4.5 Parque da Ferradura (2.563 reviews)
-Shabby Park, great views, outstanding hike
Temporarily closed - Closed until further notice Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks
As soon as you start climbing down the steep trail towards the Cai River, the same one that you can see from the belvederes above as a thin watercourse, you will forgive any bad impression about the park limited structure and lack of options besides the viewpoints. It's slightly dangerous and kinda slippery (definitively avoid it if wet) but the green lush and fauna variety surrounding you all the way down accounts for a unique and fantastic experience. And the waterfall in the end is a perfect reward for all the hard work. Alas, if you walk a bit more you can find a sunny spot by the river, between the canyons, from where you can barely identify one of the viewpoints and marvel at the sense of scale of your long walk. See more..
