3.5Museu de Cera(7.549 reviews) - Not worth it Saturday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Speciality Museums
If tou buy the pass that gives tou access to 5 attractions it’s ok, but if not is not worth it. The museum is not that big, some statues are not even similar to the real celebrities. Cristiano Ronaldo looks totally different and also madonna. See more..
For car aficionados this is super cool. I was so surprised by the size of the cars, they were so big. Like all the atractions from this company, is kind of expensive if you don't get the combo for all 5 of them, but together with the wax museum this is one of the best ones.See more..

4.5Fundacao Ibere Camargo(2.189 reviews) - Worth the visit Saturday: 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Art Galleries • Speciality Museums • Art Museums
Iberê Camargo was a great Brazilian artist and this museum offers a fairly good look into his work. The staff here were really friendly and informative. They guided us throughout our visit. They recommended we started our visit from the top floor and work our way down via the ramps. There was some cool art pieces, but after realising how prolific Iberê Camargo had been in life, I just wish there were more of his large paintings being exhibited here. There was lots of drawings, but painting-wise, I felt there wasn’t enough. There were some interactive parts of the museum which would be great for kids and the museum also offers cinema showings which are also free. They do welcome donations of course. It’s still definitely a must-see in Porto Alegre. It can be done in a couple of hours in the afternoon and you can watch the sunset right outside afterwards. See more..

See more..

4.5Casa de Gomes Jardim(69 reviews) - The birth of the Rio Grande do Sul Republic Spent < 1 hour Speciality Museums • Historic Sites
Although relatively modest, the House is really worth visiting for its connections with the birth of the Rio Grande Republic and the great passion and detail with which the owner herself talks about its history. The unmarked building can be found at the top of a hill just a few blocks from the pier where fast boats arrive from Porto Alegre. In the square facing the House stays the centuries-old Farroupilha Cipress under which the republican leaders would have gathered. A tip: If the House happens to be closed during visiting hours, the lovely people from the Vitrine Cultural center just across the street can help in contacting the owner.See more..

Nothing fancy but a nice snapshot of Sao Leopoldo, mainly from the late 1800s. Here's what I liked: a gentleman born here in 1937 (parents imigrated from Germany in 1933), who works there, gave me a personal tour. His English was very basic but better than my Portuguese. He provided nice insights and commentary. Requires less than 30 minutes.See more..

Stayed few days here in this wonderful place; it is an old farm from 1826 to produce the famous dried meat. It has a small museum on the old times. Also nice handcrafts in the rooms and common place. The owners did a great job with the restoration of this unique place at the borders of the river. A morning swim in the pool makes a perfect start of the day; the quality breakfast is the next step, sleeping in this colonial style is wonderful together with an excellent bed. A very high recommend to skip the hectic life.See more..
