We were back after 22 years . Just visiting there is really nice , as the building shows how was an old home. The apple tart is a must !

Apfelstrudel is so expensive...
The Castle called as Castelinho in portuguese is beautiful, but is much nicer out of the castle, because you pay R$ 6 reais per person to get in a castle. It is nothing more than a house with antique furniture and the famous apple pie , it is also rip off, R$17 reais for a slice??? the tasty is not so special. Look around the house. It is free and is still much more beautiful.

Not bad to stop and take a look!
I’ve been told by one of the locals that this building was one of the earliest in Gramodo and Canela, so on our way back from Caracol parque to Gramado we stopped here and spent half an hour inside. There is a R$10 entrance fee to see the inside and as mentioned by some of the reviewers, even if you want just to eat or drink something in its restaurant, the fee should be paid, and it is not fair I think. By the way when you go inside, there are 2 floors with less than 10 rooms to visit. All furnitures are kept very well and I should admit that it gave us a very good feeling. Finally we went to the restaurant in the first floor to test the famous apple pie. Me and my wife couldn’t finish a piece of it, since it had been sweetened to much. It has a very beautiful view outside and you can take some good photos there.
