The Agency is very very well organized, great and prompt response for any questions/replanning, high quality of all the experiences, very attentive support. Definetly an easy and relaxed holiday with them ! My family and I visited Lençóis in Barrerinhas (open jeep-jardinheira) and Santo Amaro (bate-volta from Barrerinhas by open jardinheira), visited the Delta do Rio Parnaiba - revoada dos Guaras, and spent two days in Jericoacora. We booked all the experiences and transports with EcoAdventure tour. Top!! Two hints we were not aware of: booking the trip to Lagoa Azul and Bonita requires 1 hour offroad each way, not suitable for people with back problems; bring a warm jacket because the way back after the sunset can be cold !! The visit to the Delta of the Parnaiba river is a very nice experience. Here you will see dunes, the river, small river arms, mangue, the encounter of the river with the see, lots of trees, and some animals (mainly birds and monkeys). There are several trips you can do in the Delta. The cheapest is the so-called Traditional Delta, where a big boat will bring you to dunes and to the encounter of the river and the sea following the second arm of the delta. There is a trip to see the Guara birds (big red birds) returning to their sleeping island in the afternoon. It is a nice trip because there are maybe thousand of Guaras returning to this single small island. The most expensive trip is made by small speed-boats that can take you to see the third or fourth arm of the Delta, in a full day trip. See more..

We did a trip boat in the afternoon with rota combo to see Parnaiba Delta. The boat was great and the guide competent. We wandered between Piaui and Maranhao states until to arrive to the dunes near the delta. Then at half past five the boat stopped in from of a island waiting for the arrival of the guaras. We did the "Revoada dos Guarás" (Guara birds sightseeing) with this company. The excursion was in a speed boat and it was very nice. The boat was good and the driver very nice. The company has other options for trips but wanted us to book a private boat, which costs a lot. If you are in a group of 4, then it is an option, otherwise, it will be very costly. See more..

Good option for the weekend or a holiday. I recommend you visit the park early in the morning or late afternoon for obvious reason: it's hot outdoors!! Anyway, soon all the trees will grow enough to lessen the heat and bring a better environment. The park is good for a walk, there is a skate board area, a small amphitheater, a foutain with a shallow water layer. You can see the old Train Station. The view of the city is great, it's a 360 degrees view, which shows the whole beauty of the city, of which I wasn't aware. The access to the bridge is very easy, even if you down own a car. The ticket is incredibly cheap. The time that you have to be there is very short tough, so be sure you take all your pictures before you're invited to leave. I think this is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to in my life (and I have traveled the world & been to many). For the first 3 hours we were the only ones on the beach and then a few stragglers came and went. The water was crystal clear and since it is in a cove you get the perfect size waves for swimming and kids. Although it is a long walk to get there, it is an easy one (but wear sneekers). You are walking on a dirt road and all you do is go up one side of a mountain and then come down. Bring lots of water and snacks. However, I highly recemend buying lunch off the women who sell meals on the beach. They are home made, cheep and tast delicious. If you are able I DEFINITELY recomend this beach. But be warned if you are out of shape. It is a LOT of walking. See more..
