- 5.0 Foz do Rio São Francisco (1.446 reviews)
-Great tour
Monday: 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM Bodies of Water
The catamaran tour was great and our guide called “Perereca” was funny and gave us a lot of local information about the place. You can take a bath in sea and in the famous river São Francisco. See more..

-Joyful and Enlightening Experience.
Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Speed Boats Tours • Air Tours
A real "Must do" for any visitor to Brasil. An unforgettable experience for me and my wife. We have traveled a lot, at several interesting places of the world, never got such a welcome reception from the owner of the business, Mr. Roberio and his daughter Lisa, which really made us feel embraced and welcome. Our guide Max, a very knowledgeable young biologist, gave us a comprehensive view of the history and changes of the São Francisco River, the biggest truly Brazilian River, source of live for more than a quarter part of the Brazilian population. The several parts of the tour, including a ten miles navigation along the São Franciso up to its mouth. the possibility to swim in the tepid waters, do parasailing (optional), dune sliding, the beautiful scenic, the unbelievable sunset are, each and every one of them, fantastic experiences. - 5.0 Xareu Beach (778 reviews)
-Antunes e Xareu. Crystal water, beauty in maragogi
Beaches
Both beaches are a bit distant from main centers, less packed of cars and tourists. You can guide your entrance in the Ocas resort on the road, or one street before the plate mentioning Antunes beach, which is less explored by visitors. There is one kiosk but not very good, so better bring your water and don't forget to take your trash back with you. Water is clear, green color, beautiful horizon. Liked it more than packed main beach in maragogi. See more..

- 4.5 Praia do Gunga (16.8k reviews)
-We enjoyed it.
Beaches
Nice beach with loads of places to seat and eat whereas you prefer a table or lounges. There are loads going on, such as banana boats, jet skis, parapente, boogies and such. Did not find food to be expensive and the beach was not too busy, but in general during our stay in Barra de São Miguel, it was quite all the time on week days and busy on the week end. See more..
- 4.5 Praia de São Miguel dos Milagres (8.721 reviews)
-Súper nice beach
Beaches
As our first day in town we decided to take it easy and just enjoy the walk, the sand and the warm water. You can take "passeios" to the pools when the tide is right (we did it the next day). There are some barracas, very low key beach. See more..

-Wonderful, but not for small children
Spent 2-3 hours Reefs
Amazing! For beginners at scuba diving there is a great opportunity for a guided dive, when you have the chance to see a lot of different, colorful fish. The water is a little deep though, not for children under 4 feet tall. See more..

- 4.5 Carro Quebrado Beach (2.650 reviews)
-Amazing landscape
Monday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Beaches
Carro Quebrado is the best beach of Alagoas state in my opinion. You can see amazing landscape if you walk from Ponta de Gamela Beach. You can see reefs, cliffs and coconut trees in the same place and the sea has beautiful colour. I recommend to have lunch at Capitão Nikolas restaurant that offers live music, pool and great drinks and local sea food. Call Naturae Turismo to book a day tour from Maceió city. - 4.5 Barra de Sao Miguel Beach (2.117 reviews)
-This is a great natural beauty
Beaches
This is a hard one to evaluate. I love the place and have been coming there every time I am in Maceio. Like every where in the planet places like this attract commercial interest. It is annoying if you want to have a peaceful place. And you can do that if you walk away from the hot spot. The tourist busses will bring you to the commercial area for sure. How ever places like that is sustaining the locals and the local economy plus there are some great experiences like kayaks that the children love. Bring cash and only eat fresh food made in front of you while the the water. Ex. grilled cheese ( my favorite) and fruit cocktails. No raw food or already cooked ( you may get sick) See more..
- 4.5 Praia Ponta de Mangue (2.057 reviews)
-Outstanding experience!
Beaches
This is the beach with one of the best ways to walk to the reefs and pools at low tide. But, protect your feet with sneakers of beach shoes. I enjoy snorkelling at some of the more hidden pools. This is the beach of the Gran Oca Resort. It has had a lot of erosion in front of the hotel, but that's what makes it easier to walk to the reef. On both sides the beaches are great for strolling at almost any time. See more..
- 4.5 Patacho Beach (1.811 reviews)
-A hidden gem!
Beaches
Praia do Patacho deserves all its raving reviews. My husband and I were staying in Japaratinga and decided to spend the day there. As most comments on Tripadvisor said there was no infrastructure, we did't plan to stay there long. But to our surprise, there were quite a few vendors selling all kinds of beverages. They also partnered with local restaurants so we could order food right from the beach. These vendors ( we chose Seu Didi) also offered free chairs and beach umbrellas for free! The beach is gorgeous, with white sand and green warm waters just like the ...the coconut trees lining it make the place a Hollywood film setting. There are no restaurants or houses on the beach, just a few luxury pousadas. Most definitely the most beautiful beach I've been to. See more..
- 4.5 Japaratinga Beach (1.756 reviews)
-Just wonderful!
Beaches
The beach is so beautiful that you have to promise yourself you must come back. The water is clean and worm. Just go! See more..
- 4.5 Piscinas Naturais de Pajucara (1.655 reviews)
-Sailing among the reef corals
Spent 2-3 hours Bodies of Water
If you want to go the coral reef of Maceió, go to Pajuçara Beach, close to life-saving post where the sailing boats departs. I suggest you contact Mr Zezinho, who can be reached by whatsapp (only in Portuguese). He is the "boat's capitan" and a very polite and easygoing person who do this tour in his own sailing boat between the coral reef, specially in a exclusive area that other sailing boats don't go. His contact is: +55 82 9919-2874. The tour's time relies on the tides, and happens once a day. At least the duration is around 2 hours on average. See more..

- 4.5 Toque Beach (1.315 reviews)
-One of the nicest of SMM
Beaches

- 4.5 Parque Shopping Maceio (1.253 reviews)
-Parque Shopping Maceió
Spent More than 3 hours Shopping Malls
Parque Shopping is one of the most beautiful Maceió's malls. In a priviledged location, it is possible to see the ocean from the modern food court while you try any kind of meal you can imagine. With a variety of stores, it is not hard to find exclusive products and services. Unfortunately, the exclusivity offered by the mall comes with expensive prices at the parking and the cinema. As a mall with expensive stores, it receive less people than the others, then it is more comfortable to walk. The people who visit the mall have a high purchasing power and we can see that the kinds of services found at the mall are famous stores and restaurants like Outback, Calvin Klein, John John, Pandora, etc. See more..
- 4.5 Hibiscus Beach Club (1.247 reviews)
-Paradise !
Monday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Spent More than 3 hours Beach & Pool Clubs

I've been to lots of beaches in Alagoas, Pernambuco, Ceará, Bahia, Paraíba .... and this is certainly one of the most beautiful I've visited. The color of the water is just amazing. Beaches
