- 5.0 Passeio de barco com Junior Tubarao (983 reviews)
-Great experience
Monday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Boat Tours • Sightseeing Tours • Food Tours
Have been on numerous trips with Tubarao and each time he has improved the trip in some way despite the fact that we always think he’s got the perfect balance. Great food, breathtaking natural scenery and a good amount of knowledge about the local history and fauna. Well worth a trip although I’d recommend taking overnight in Galinhos (we did the trip from Gostoso) See more..
- 4.5 Dunas de Genipabu (19.4k reviews)
-Must see in Natal
Spent More than 3 hours Geologic Formations
Best sight-seeing activity in Natal. These dunes are encrusted in the middle of the city, but are large enough to give a desert feeling. Our buggy driver (hired through Luck Receptivo) was NOT sensitive to the needs of an older tourist in the car. There is a LOT of room for improvement here to serve older and/or handicapped tourists. See more..
- 4.5 Baía dos Golfinhos (6.347 reviews)
-Awesome
Beaches
Awesome! I saw a lot of dolphins swimming very close to me! The beach is very clean and beautiful. I don’t think it’s necessary to buy the boat tickets to see the dolphins. In my opinion it is the best Pipa beach. See more..
- 4.5 Parrachos de Maracajau (6.262 reviews)
-Great, but attention to the tide!
Reefs
This is the type of attraction that can be ruined if you go in the wrong time... To have a nice scuba/ snorkeling, take care to go when the tide is really low (0.3 m or less). If it rained the day/night before or the tide is higher than 0.3m - 0.4 m, just forget it, as you won't see anything... Locals also say something about the moon phase (now I don't remember if the best one is New Moon or Full Moon). Price is too high (around R$ 80,00 per person), but definitely worth it if there is a very low tide (it's when all the pictures for advertisement are taken!). You can check the Tide Tables at Brazil's Navy website (http://www.mar.mil.br/dhn/chm/tabuas/index.htm ) and plan your trip. And bring your own snorkel mask, otherwise you will have to use the ones which are shared with other tourists. See more..
- 4.5 Genipabu Beach (5.680 reviews)

If you visit Natal city in Brazil you must go to Genipabu Beach. There are many restaurants around and attractions for family. The view from the top of the dunes is amazing. You can see the the main beaches of Natal from there. Send me a message and I can help you with more tour information. See more..
- 4.5 Praia Da Pipa (5.612 reviews)
-Distance between Natal and Praia da Pipa
Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
We have been retired and living in Praia da Pipa since July 2015 and it is a wonderful place. However, trip advisor states that Pipa is located next to the city of Natal. It is true that both cities are located within the State of Rio Grande do Norte, but the distance between the 2 cities is about 60 km and takes 1 hour by car to travel between the 2 cities. Really nice place. The river has shallow water. Really nice to bathe in. There are many things to do there such as kayaking, sand boarding, and driving quad bikes. - 4.5 Barra de Cunhau (1.945 reviews)
-Casa da Estrela visit - Love the village!
Beaches
Barra de Cunhau is a fabulous village, with great beaches and terrific weather - at all times! The people were all very friendly. The walks on the beach, to die for! Turtle sanctuary - no fast moving buggys to dodge. Driving in to town, you must take a balsa ( a ferry ) if you are coming in from the north - oh, so charming. The resort - VIP Home of Casa da Estrela, located in the village, is where my wife and I stayed. The absolute luxury, combined with the community - our best and greatest vacation ever. I would reccomend the VIP home, or the village and a pousada, to anyone. If you have the chance, go - you will not regret it. See more..
- 4.5 Lagoa de Carcara (1.753 reviews)
-If you love lakes, you'll love Carcara
Spent More than 3 hours Beaches
The water is calm and clear. You can do stand-up surfing there and there are paddle boats in the shape of swans. The foods is excellent although service can get slow when it is crowded. There are beautiful people at this lake, although it is somewhat remote and difficult to find. You have to stop and ask for directions or ask a local boy to ride with you. See more..
- 4.5 Cotovelo Beach (1.705 reviews)
-One of the best beaches in Natal area
Beaches
We had a great time at this beach. Is really close to Natal downtown, so when we went for some plane no so good, we returned for this beach, because is always good. There is a nice restaurant with good food at a reasonable price, and you can have a lunch looking the waves. Is really lovely and poorly known. You can rent a surf or body boarding and play in the beach. I highly recommend in Natal See more..
