- 4.5 Santa Barbara Waterfall (1.533 reviews)
-Cristal clear waterfall
Waterfalls
Standing at 98 feet high, this waterfall is an opportunity to see mother nature at its finest. While the hike through the tropical rainforest to reach the falls is relatively easy, you’ll undoubtedly get sweaty. Be sure to bring plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes, and reward yourself with a refreshing dip in the sparkling emerald pool at the foot waterfall. To see the pool’s stunning color at its best, vist in the late morning or early afternoon, when sunlight hits the water. If you’re looking for a convenient way to experience Santa Barbara Waterfall, book a Chapada dos Veadeiros multi-day tour. – Tripadvisor See more..

-Must See!
Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Hiking Trails • Waterfalls
Please, please make time to visit here. You will not regret it. We hiked a trail that seemed almost magical. The waterfall and natural pool were absolutely beautiful. When we finished we ate a meal prepared by the the owners then the kids relaxed in the hammocks. If I could choose another way of life, I would come out here to live. It felt absolutely magical. We had help getting there from our pousada owner otherwise we never would have made it out here. The drive is very challenging. I thank God we got out here because it was worth it. We don't speak the same language but still managed to exchange a few words and enjoy each others' company. The owners were simply lovely. I hope I can go back some day. Highly recommend. See more..
- 4.5 Salto do Itiquira (1.096 reviews)
-One of the largest waterfalls in Brazil
Monday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Waterfalls
Access is very easy and all roads are paved. The annoying part is passing through Formosa-GO -- you only have to follow the signposts, but there are dozens of speed bumps and people cross the street anywhere. The waterfall itself is fantastic - a 168m (551 ft) drop. Bring a bathing suit, because when you get near it, you'll get wet just with the splash, which flies tens of meters (yards). The park is very well organized, the walkway is paved, although the stairs may pose some difficulty for the elderly and mobility-impaired. In the dry season, there's a point down the river where you can swim. It's a day trip enjoyable for children and adults! See more..

- 4.5 Cachoeiras Bonsucesso (941 reviews)
-Six waterfalls and a pleasant walk (Monday visit in October- not busy)
Waterfalls
I can honestly give this place 5 stars - visiting on a Monday in October it was almost deserted and we practically had the place to ourselves. Not sure what it would be like at other times, especially weekends. You enter through a kind of farm area. There is a bathroom and a small shop with snacks/souvenirs. Entrance fee was 25 Reals which seemed a bit steep compared to other attractions (e.g. Itiquira Falls was only 10 Reals) but it is a great location. You walk along a very pleasant trail of about 1km to the various falls. There are some steep steps to reach the last ones but the first are reasonably easy - you need to walk across stones in a few cases. The swimming is wonderful in fresh waters with the spray from the falls. Really a great experience if you're in the area. See more..
