The organization of our six days in Jalapao was exemplary. Everything went better than we could have expected. The destinations were breathtaking, the hotels good and the food even sometimes culinary. We can highly recommend Rafael and his team. The only problem was that none of the guides speak a language other than Portuguese, but thanks to friendly fellow travelers we were able to keep up with the explanations (and learned a little Portuguese). This amazing treasure of the nature is very accessible by foot (once you get there with an off road car). It´s cheap to get into this "atraction" (you have to pay the native that owes the place 10-20 reais ( around 5 dollars), i´m not sure). Take your swimsuits, snorkels and dive into the magic. You can "climb" the different "levels" of the waterfall and have a free natural massage. It´s not dangerous as other waterfalls may be. I actually jumped from it! It was amazing! There´s a barbecue space that can be rented and bathroom (and a rustic shower) facilities. I loved the afternoon there. See more..

First of all I decided to do this trip alone. I received some friends advices to do this trip with Sandro (40 graus no cerrado expedition). However, He hadn’t date available. So He indicated Tour Jalapão. I really recommend this agency I can’t describe how was this experience. Doesn’t have any word or picture that can express one percent of what We lived there. Everything was great. The landscape, the meals, the hotel and the way that this trip had developed was amazing. I haven’t any doubt that Mr. Eufronio is the best guide what you can get to this trip. Firstly, a big thank you to Douglas for being such an excellent guide. Douglas was friendly, professional and organised from the start, it was easy to organise the trip with him. Jalapao is a special place full of natural beauty. I especially loved the fervedouros and I didn't know that they could only be found in Tocatins. The national park is well organised and we always had plenty of time at each place and we even had the fervedouros to ourselves which was wonderful. All the hotels we stayed in were clean and comfortable and the food was enjoyable too. I can't recommend Douglas and Jalapao enough. There are so many amazing places on Brasil but Jalapao should be at the top of the list. See more..

Fernando is the best tour guide and driver I’ve had. He is knowledgeable about Jalapao as he grew up and spent his entire life in the state of Tocantins, exploring Jalapao himself. He is also very patient and flexible with guests. There were many times our group took longer to finish lunch, check out of hotels, make bathroom stops and he accommodated us without complaint and always with a positive reaction and a smile. He is humble, competent, and caring and very good with dealing with partner agencies, reducing the risk of cancelled reservations or logistical errors.
