- 5.0 Parque Nacional de Jericoacoara (752 reviews)
-Totally worth a visit
National Parks • Parks
I added Jeri as part of mx trip in Brazil because lençóis maranhenses wasn't that favorable to visit in January . Didn't exactly know what to expect but its the kind of place that you could easily spend several days at. Different types of sporting activities are available - tours to check out the east and west parts of the park on buggy's are an easy way to spend two whole days in Jeri. In the evenings you have the forro restaurant with live music and dancing on certain days. If you fancy house music then Jeri cafe is the place for you. If you are into samba then samba rock cafe should do it for you. There are a couple of kite surfing clubs and running on the beach is also amazing. In terms of food I just enjoyed grabbing a bite from the street food and from my favorite cafe with freshly made Pão de Queijo - Pao do Sol is a must visit as well Enjoy Jeri See more..
- 4.5 Beach Park (14.9k reviews)
-Fun park bug long lines
Monday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Water Parks
There’s something for people of all ages at Brazil’s largest water park, including pools, saunas, ecological walks, artificial rapids and – not for the fainthearted – a water slide the height of 14 floors. See more..
- 4.5 Lagoa do Paraíso (11.6k reviews)
-Go to nova esperança beach club
Bodies of Water
Amazing lagoon, but take care where to go. I have been to the overhyped alchemist beach club before and it was overcrowded, expensive and bad service. This Nova Esperança is the one the locals recommended me and is not as "instamagrable" but for me much better since you can actually rest on the hammocks in the water (not only take pictures), you can have your table in the water, and have good food at a fair price! It's a must if you're in Jericoacoara for sure! See more..
- 4.5 Morro Branco (11.1k reviews)
-One day visit
Beaches
Beautiful views of the cliffs and amazing colors of the sand. We rented a buggy with a driver and a guide and we totally recommend to do it See more..
- 4.5 Duna do Por do Sol (9.827 reviews)
-Evening procession to Jericoacoara sunset rite
Geologic Formations
It is a cult that all lovers of beauty regularly follow: watching the sun set from the spectacular dune that the constant wind blows into the sea. It is an impressive procession of people passionate about Jericoacoara that walk towards the big dune towards sunset - and return to downtown Jericoacoara once the sun has disapeared in the sea or the haze just above it. Great place to play some music, if you bring your instrument. See more..
- 4.5 Jericoacoara Beach (7.946 reviews)
-Paradise on Earth
Beaches
This is a small village in the extreme north of Ceará State, Brazil near a National Park. Wonderful beaches with clear, worm water as well as dunes and sweet water lagoons. The village is well maintained, and the place is VERY safe. Food is great. You can find from home made stile to gourmet restaurants. You can just enjoy the beach or take tours to the West and East coasts. A place no one should mis! See more..
- 4.5 Praia de Canoa Quebrada (4.984 reviews)
-Pro Tip: Walk South Along The Beach Until You Reach The Vines
Beaches
Praia de Canoa Quebrada is absolutely beautiful! Chill vibes, friendly people, fresh seafood, beautiful beach and landscapes. If you are looking for the most beautiful, relaxing area of Praia de Canoa Quebrada we highly recommend walking south along the beach until you see flowering vines growing along the sandy cliffs. This area is much more spacious than the main area and even more beautiful with colorful fishing boats docked on the shores, vines growing with purple flowers, small huts and friendly faces line the shore. A highly recommended weekend getaway with that special someone or the family. See more..

- 4.5 Metropolitana Cathedral (3.047 reviews)
-Outside Is Gorgeous, Inside is Simple
Churches & Cathedrals
The Metropolitana Cathedral is absolutely gorgeous and worth the visit! I will say, the outside was more beautiful than the inside. The cathedral is a wonderful place to sit down, relax, and recharge however the interior aesthetic is very simple and even run-down in many areas. Construction is currently underway as of March 2020 so hopefully this improves the visitor experience. Still a 5/5 in my book. A must-see when visiting Fortaleza. Just watch out for beggars outside the main entrance! See more..

- 4.5 Mangue Seco Beach (1.525 reviews)
-Unusual and Enchanting!
Beaches
A visit to the Mangue Seco Beach stays in the mind long after you return home. We did a tour with the excellent JCS Passieos and this was a stop on a day long excursion. There are a number of swings plus wooden ladders leading to viewing platforms in the trees. We liked the natural, rustic look and feel of this place. The partially sunken forest has formed a natural pool of tranquility with a frothing sea at its perimeter. And a shout out to Leanardo our driver who expertly and safely drove our group around. See more..

- 4.5 Malhada Beach (887 reviews)
-Nature at its best
Beaches
The best place inJeri. It's usually you, the wind, sand, the sea and very few people around (compared to the main beach). No bars at this beach. The only music comes from the waves and the wind. There's nowhere to hide from the sun, so if you want to spend some time at this side , bring a hat, make sure you have (more than) enough sunscreen or sunblock on and /or bring your own umbrella ( hehehe). Maybe most people choose to be at main beach because at Malhada, there are lots of stones. Surfers Serrote hill is located by this beach and I strongly recommend seeing the sunset from there. You won't regret it :) See more..

- 4.5 Beira Mar Avenue (826 reviews)
-All-in-one
Flea & Street Markets
Stayed in Fortaleza for 7 weeks over the summer and can honestly say I spent around 80% of that time around Beira Mar. The beach is to die for, the markets that open at around sunset are amazing, and the food from the square is delicioso! The people are so lovely and the atmosphere is buzzing at any time of day. The only I would say is that it can get very dangerous at night, which is normal in Brazil so just watch out, don't take out anything too valuable and you'll be fine. Would definitely recommend Beira Mar to anyone that comes to Fortaleza! See more..
- 4.5 Lagoinha Beach (766 reviews)
-Drifting away in paradise! Nearby get-away from the city bustle and noise.
Beaches
During my two years in Brazil, Lagoinha remained my favorite quaint beach location in Ceara. It is not too far from the city but just far enough to get away. A very small town, Lagoinha is primarily about the beach. In the day you can rent 4 wheelers, swim, tan, eat, or take a pony for a gallop down the shoreline. The fish is fresh, the caju nuts are warm, and the sun and breeze will carry your cares away (also the cachaça helps ;). I recommend Lagoinha any day! See more..
